Deutsche Bank

One of the world’s largest financial services organizations, Deutsche Bank agreed to a multiyear collaboration with Oracle to modernize the bank’s database technology and accelerate their digital transformation. The agreement will see Deutsche Bank upgrade their existing database systems and migrate the bulk of their Oracle Database estate to Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer to support applications that either will not move to the public cloud or may in the future. This will provide a dedicated platform to support and scale the bank’s existing mission-critical systems and services including trading, payments processing, risk and capital planning, and regulatory reporting.

Telefônica Brasil

Telefônica Brasil

Telefônica Brasil holds the Vivo brand that’s the leading telecommunications business in Brazil, with more than 97 million accesses across the country. The company is moving their development and testing data center workload to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and shifting databases for important production applications such as Siebel from on-premises to Oracle Cloud@Customer. These initiatives are major milestones on Telefônica’s journey to the cloud and will also lead to significant cost savings.


A10 Networks

A provider of cybersecurity applications for on-premises, multicloud, and edge computing environments, California-based A10 Networks selected Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to run their flagship Harmony Controller as a cloud service, plus other systems for both internal and external use. The ISV selected OCI because of its speed and performance and because OCI helps A10 provide their customers with a more secure and financially sound solution.

CMiC

CMiC provides ERP for the construction industry, including back-office accounting, human resources, field operations, and project management, and they trust Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to host the solution. Among the reasons are that OCI offers next-generation infrastructure as a service that’s architected on security-first design principles, helping to reduce risk from advanced persistent threats. OCI also allows CMiC to deploy 10X faster, which makes the cost lower when compared with any other provider.

Crunch Mediaworks

A provider of intelligent video optimization technology, Crunch Mediaworks uses patented technologies and proprietary ML/AI modeling to help their customers reduce the bandwidth of videos to improve quality and reduce costs. The company is moving their entire video optimization services from AWS to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. They expect that using OCI will help them increase performance, resulting in improved user experience.

Electronic Transaction Consultants (ETC)

Processing more than 2 billion transactions a year, Electronic Transaction Consultants (ETC) is a leading provider of intelligent transportation systems and services, providing support to three of the top 15 US toll authorities. The company adopted Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Oracle Exadata Cloud Service to reduce operating and capital expenses and realize other benefits. The company now has high availability and easier management of the platform they use to build and run toll systems for city and highway agencies and their customers.

Ericom Software

A leading provider of cybersecurity solutions based on the zero trust security model, Ericom Software’s ZTEdge Cloud Security platform runs on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and is sold in the Oracle Cloud Marketplace. Available globally through Oracle Cloud Regions, the multitenant ZTEdge platform helps organizations rapidly adopt zero trust security principles while cutting complexity and costs, reducing cyber-risk, and improving application performance.

Kaltura

With enterprise video products such as webinars, town halls, virtual events, video portals, and lecture capture, Kaltura’s Video Experience Cloud reaches millions of active users. The company selected Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to support growth and accelerate global expansion. Kaltura finds OCI's networking infrastructure fast, predictable, and affordable, providing substantial savings on networking costs. Oracle and Kaltura have also extended their strategic OEM partnership to deliver video experiences to Oracle Cloud customers.

Liberty Global

One of Europe’s largest media companies, Liberty Global operates an array of telecom, internet, and TV providers. The Netherlands-based company trusts Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to run critical back-office applications including finance, procurement, and planning. This not only saves on the cost of running expensive data centers, but also gives Liberty Global the flexibility and scalability to meet demand from their growing customer base.

Macif Assurance

As a €6.4 billion provider of auto, health, and life insurance, France’s Macif Assurance faced a huge decision in moving all their Oracle Databases—containing more than half the company’s data—to the cloud. The insurer chose Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer because it offers the scalability and manageability of cloud while keeping the data on-premises in Macif’s data centers to meet regulatory requirements. Cloud flexibility will help the company bring new products and services to market faster for their 5.5 million policy holders.

Market Rithm

A maker of cloud-based marketing automation and other software to help companies engage with consumers, Market Rithm felt they were getting squeezed with fees and support costs by their current cloud infrastructure provider. The company believes that moving their entire platform from AWS to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure will save them 30%, support their growth, and provide their customers with strong security.

National Stock Exchange of India

One of the world’s largest stock exchanges, NSE India has been at the forefront of transforming India’s deep-rooted savings tradition into more of an equity and investment culture. Building on their reputation for technology innovation, the exchange has selected Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, including Oracle Exadata Cloud Service, to support the development and testing of India’s largest trade clearing and settlement application.

NEOM

Saudi Arabia’s ambitious effort to build an entirely new, sustainable city, NEOM will feature elements such as a high-speed transit line at its center and the world’s largest coral garden in the nearby Red Sea. To power their smart-city technologies, NEOM will implement an Oracle Dedicated Region Cloud@Customer, letting Oracle manage and secure the infrastructure technology while keeping the data and information inside the city.

New Jersey Office of Information Technology

The exclusive government provider of IT services for the US state’s executive branch, the New Jersey Office of Information Technology employs more than 500 technology specialists. Having prepared to move some on-premises Oracle Exadata workloads to Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer last year, the office is doing a second Cloud@Customer implementation this year so they can continue to benefit from the advantages of lower costs and less time spent on patching and other maintenance, all while keeping data inside their own data center.

Pernod Ricard

One of the world’s largest spirits and wine companies, with globally known brands such as Absolut, Beefeater, and Jameson, Pernod Ricard has chosen Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to run their JD Edwards application as part of the company’s multicloud strategy.

Polpharma

A maker of generic drugs that ships more than 400 million packages of medicine a year, the Poland-based Polpharma is running some of their main, critical applications on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. OCI’s reliability helps ensure the company can meet the growing demand from the more than 60 countries they supply.

Protego Trust Bank

One of the US’s first federally approved digital asset trust banks, Protego Trust Bank sought a trusted partner to launch their business. They chose Oracle and Oracle’s cloud-based applications to run their digital banking operations. Protego’s leaders expect Oracle’s cloud and on-premises solutions to provide security, scalability, and performance to help them get to market faster with services to help institutional clients buy, hold, trade, and lend both fiat currencies and digital assets.

Saudi Payments

Saudi Payments operates a secure, interoperable national payment infrastructure serving banks and fintechs. As part of this network, the national electronic bill presentment and payment service SADAD relies on Oracle Cloud@Customer to help tackle the challenges that come with rapid growth, providing expanded storage and computing power while keeping data in the Saudi Payments data center.

SCC Soft Computer

At the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, many small laboratories turned to SCC Soft Computer’s SoftMolecular suite of applications for a scalable laboratory information system to improve lab operations. SCC’s Genetics Information Systems Suite is built on Oracle Database, and the company used Oracle’s new Support Rewards program when moving those Oracle Databases to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, gaining a significant discount on database maintenance costs while improving app performance. The ISV also can continue moving out of their data center in Florida—a priority given the natural disaster risks.

State of Utah

When legislators decided to move all operations out of the building housing the current data center, the Utah Division of Technology Services (DTS) saw an opportunity for a more efficient way to deliver on their technology promises. Already a user of Oracle Exadata, DTS has selected Oracle Cloud@Customer to migrate systems and applications without any downtime for state agencies, take advantage of the automation offered by Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, and create a roadmap for additional cloud migration.

Telestream

Telestream is a provider of a wide range of digital video and workflow solutions to help broadcast and enterprise companies reach broader audiences and generate more revenue with their media, and they count companies such as BBC, CBS, CNN, Comcast, and Fox as customers. Telestream has added Oracle Cloud Infrastructure as a cloud processing platform choice for media customers who have made the strategic selection of OCI to host and execute their media processing workloads.

TIM

A leading ICT group in Italy and Brazil, TIM selected Oracle Cloud to support their ERP strategy through Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and SaaS ERP solutions.

Vixxo

As a leading facility maintenance company in North America, Vixxo handles several million data transactions per month from their web and mobile app platforms. Oracle Cloud Infrastructure helps the company improve the performance of their core data warehouse and their Siebel, Revenue and Billing Management, and JD Edwards applications. OCI also supports Vixxo’s disaster recovery capabilities, enterprise platform management, and security posture, letting team members focus on evolving services and helping customers.

Acer

One of the world’s top information and telecommunication technology companies, with operations in more than 160 countries, Acer wanted to consolidate their cloud applications to manage increasing regulatory requirements and automate group financial reporting. By adopting Oracle Fusion Cloud EPM, the company aims to save staff time related to complex data collection and report preparation, while also improving the quality and accuracy of reporting.

AirAsia India

Formed as a venture between Tata Sons Private Limited and AirAsia Investment Limited, AirAsia India is a young airline in one of the world’s fastest-growing aviation markets. Wanting to provide a superior experience to employees and business partners, the company determined they needed a new HR solution and selected Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM. This will help AirAsia India automate manual and paper-based processes in keeping with their sustainability agenda, leverage greater integration between systems such as payroll and analytics, incorporate self-service access to data and analytics, and better respond to massive business changes faced by the travel industry.

Ala Kaifak

A seller of home supplies as diverse as stationery, detergent, appliances, toys, and furniture, Saudi Arabia-based Ala Kaifak is pursuing an aggressive growth strategy. The company selected Oracle NetSuite as a single platform to provide a strong and stable ERP, real-time reporting, and support across business functions.

Alshaya Group

A franchise operator for brands including Debenhams, H&M;, P.F. Chang’s, Starbucks, The Body Shop, The Cheesecake Factory, Victoria’s Secret, and West Elm, the Kuwait-based Alshaya Group operates more than 4,000 stores across the Middle East and North Africa, Russia, Turkey, and Central and Eastern Europe, as well as a growing online and digital business. The company uses Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to handle applications for finances, retail management, and property operations, providing them a comprehensive view of their business.

American Hospital Dubai

A leading private hospital in the Middle East, American Hospital Dubai went live in May 2021 with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, SCM, and HCM capabilities. This is the first of a multiphase implementation of Oracle Cloud Applications.

Atrium Health

An integrated, nonprofit health system with 42 hospitals and more than 1,500 care locations in North Carolina, Atrium Health went live on Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP in January 2021. Wake Forest Baptist Health, which recently joined Atrium Health through a strategic combination, went live on Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP in July 2021.

AXA Singapore

A leading provider of business and personal insurance in Singapore, AXA choose Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and Oracle Consulting to improve business efficiency and streamline integration between core insurance systems and their ERP system. Oracle Cloud ERP will bring the company benefits with more drill-down financial analysis options, a standardized global chart of accounts, insight into business performance, less manual financial processing, and reduced IT costs.

Axiom Telecom

One of the largest distributors of mobile technology products in the United Arab Emirates and the surrounding region, Axiom Telecom went live in August 2021 with their first major step to the cloud, implementing multiple Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and SCM modules including financial management, procurement, and order management.

Baptist Health

With a new flagship hospital scheduled to open in the summer of 2023, Baptist Health is building on 70 years as a locally owned healthcare system in northwest Florida and southern Alabama. Today, the system is comprised of three hospitals, four medical parks, an orthopedics and sports medicine institute, and more. The company chose Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and HCM to replace an Infor Lawson system, after also considering Workday, in order to modernize their back office, unify processes, and increase visibility across the organization before opening their new hospital.

Bharti Airtel

One of the world’s largest telecommunications companies, Bharti Airtel serves more 440 million customers across 18 countries in Asia and Africa. Wanting to digitize and automate their finance and supply chain processes, the company selected Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials, Risk Management, Supply Chain, and EPM. Bharti Airtel will rely on the cloud platform to simplify their IT environment, enable shared services across their operations, gain a single source of truth, and add capabilities such as real-time analytics and machine learning for faster decision-making.

Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group

Founded in 1929, Chow Tai Fook Jewellery Group is renowned for their design, quality, and value, including the Chow Tai Fook flagship brand and other brands including HEARTS ON FIRE, ENZO, SOINLOVE, and MONOLOGUE. The group selected Oracle NetSuite for a centralized financial platform to support their operations in multiple locations, helping reduce manual reporting and provide timely insights to the business.

Christie

A global provider of high-end digital displays, projectors, command centers, and training simulators to a broad range of industries, Christie sought more easy-to-use product development technology. The company chose Oracle Fusion Cloud Product Lifecycle Management to help them manage and coordinate product development data and processes across many locations.

Dallas County, Texas

The second-most populous county in Texas and the ninth-most populous in the US, Dallas County had an initiative to modernize their back office financial and HR operations. The county chose Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, EPM, and HCM to streamline purchasing and improve procure-to-pay; provide executives, managers, and employees with immediate insights into workforce performance; and connect operations across multiple business processes.

DNB

Norway’s largest financial services group, DNB offers loans, savings, advisory services, insurance, and pension products to retail and corporate customers. The bank had been relying on several legacy accounting systems. To move their business forward, they chose Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and EPM to deliver a cloud-based system for accounting.

Donatos

Founded in Columbus, Ohio in 1963, Donatos is a family-owned pizza company known for their thin-crust pizzas loaded with toppings from edge to edge, which are served in more than 300 locations in 20 states. The company chose Oracle NetSuite to manage both their finance and dough-manufacturing operations, since NetSuite provided a unified, cloud-based solution backed by strong restaurant industry experience.

DP World

The global trade enabler DP World’s extensive program to migrate distributed back-office applications to Oracle Fusion Cloud applications has involved staggered deployments since early 2020, including several in 2021 across multiple locations. Oracle Cloud applications for ERP, SCM, and HCM have shown a positive impact in many processes such as shorter period closing and reduced budgeting timelines. As a supply chain logistics provider, DP World runs a global network of 136 business units in more than 64 countries across six continents.

European Commission

Oracle signed a multiyear software, maintenance, and support contract with the European Commission and 46 European institutions.

General Electric Company

For nearly 130 years, GE has helped invent the future of industry, and today is helping the world work more efficiently, reliably, and safely. The company this past quarter went live on Oracle Fusion Accounting Hub, modernizing their financial practices by shifting to cloud solutions.

Gulf Bank

Kuwait’s Gulf Bank is in the midst of a multiyear technology transformation to centralize their banking infrastructure, automate core processes, reduce risk, and quickly provide new products to corporate and retail customers. After a highly competitive review, Gulf Bank selected Oracle Financial Services, including FLEXCUBE, Oracle Banking, and Oracle Financial Services Analytics applications to provide a scalable platform to deliver a better banking experience to customers and support growth.

The Hillman Group

An industry leader in builder solutions providing 112,000 products to top home improvement retailers, Hillman experienced tremendous growth in recent years, straining their logistics operations. Hillman chose Oracle Transportation Management to maximize operational efficiency by simplifying processes and providing holistic visibility to transportation operations.

Humana

A leading health and well-being company, Humana’s history in care delivery and health-plan administration is helping them create a new kind of integrated care, with the power to help members achieve their best health while lowering costs. Humana’s range of clinical capabilities and resources, such as in-home care, behavioral health, pharmacy services, data analytics, and wellness solutions, combine to make healthcare easier to navigate and more effective. The company chose Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and EPM to modernize their back-office systems and support their evolving business.

Hutchinson

A global leader in technologies for vibration control, fluid management, and sealing, Hutchinson went live in June 2021 with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM for 39,000 employees in 24 countries to improve efficiency in human resources, simplify access to employee data, and attract and retain key talent by providing compelling career paths.

ITV

An integrated producer broadcaster in the media and entertainment sector, ITV creates, owns, and distributes high-quality content on multiple platforms globally. The company needed to replace legacy technology that required time-consuming customizations and workarounds. The London-based organization selected Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and HCM over competitors for a highly secure cloud platform that supports continuous innovation.

KCB Group

One of the largest commercial banks in East Africa, with a branch network across the region, KCB Group selected Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP to reduce expenses and improve back-office efficiency, financial reporting, and data integrity.

Levi Strauss de México

A subsidiary of one of the world’s largest brand-name apparel companies, Levi Strauss de México went live this quarter on Oracle CX Marketing with Responsys Campaign Management, marking a regional expansion of Levi Strauss’ use of Oracle Marketing to personalize customer interactions.

Lumio

In December 2020, the founders of four leading regional solar companies came together with cofounder and CEO Greg Butterfield to form Lumio, with the aim of decentralizing electrical power, elevating communities, and creating Earth’s best home solar experience. The company was instantly among the top five US residential solar providers, with several thousand team members and a sales run-rate of more than $1 billion. The company’s leadership team selected NetSuite as their core ERP platform to help scale the business across North America.

Macquarie Group

Macquarie Group is a global financial services group operating in 32 markets in asset management, retail and business banking, wealth management, leasing and asset financing, market access, commodity trading, renewables development, specialist advisory, capital raising, and principal investment. As part of their finance transformation program, Macquarie went live in August 2021 on multiple Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP modules including general ledger and accounting, and on EPM for tax reporting, profitability and cost management, and enterprise reporting. This builds on Macquarie's Oracle Cloud ERP Financial Management go-live in 2020.

Maldives Ports Limited

As the manager and operator of government-owned ports and port facilities, Maldives Ports Limited serves as the gateway for goods into this nation of islands in the Indian Ocean. MPL selected Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP after an extensive evaluation to streamline and automate back-office operations, including finance and supply chain. The move will also support the relocation of MPL’s current port to the Maldives Commercial Port, a more modern facility developed to drive sustained growth of the country’s economy.

Mashreq Bank

The oldest privately owned bank in the United Arab Emirates, Mashreq Bank is expanding their footprint across the Middle East and internationally. They needed to upgrade their aging Oracle E-Business Suite system to support new hubs in India, Egypt, and Pakistan. Mashreq chose Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP over SAP because Oracle offered the flexibility and scalability the organization needed to support multiple countries with differing requirements.

Methanex

The world’s largest producer and supplier of methanol, Vancouver-based Methanex went live on Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, EPM, and SCM in the first quarter of 2021, replacing PeopleSoft systems.

My Basket

A subsidiary of Japan’s AEON Group, My Basket runs supermarkets mainly in Tokyo and Kanagawa Prefecture. With a growing number of stores, the company chose Oracle Fusion Cloud Service to boost the efficiency of their call center, letting the team handle additional inquiry volumes and improve service without increasing headcount.

NXP Semiconductors

As a global leader in chip innovation, NXP Semiconductors delivers secure connectivity solutions used in areas from automotive and the Internet of Things to mobile and communications infrastructure, enabling capabilities such as contactless interactions and automotive electrification. The 29,000-employee, NASDAQ-listed company selected Oracle Fusion Cloud EPM to replace Hyperion to bring critical financial processes into the cloud.

Omnicell

With their innovative pharmacy and medication management solutions, Omnicell provides automation to improve patient care, compliance, and efficiency—with the goal of zero-error medication management. The company went live recently with Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM, moving core HR and benefits solutions to the cloud for their 3,500 employees.

Pizza Hut Singapore

The restaurant franchisee Pizza Hut Singapore selected Oracle NetSuite to handle their sales and operations planning. The company plans to use NetSuite to do planning for sales, costs, and profit by store.

Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory

Part of the U.S. Department of Energy, the Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory has a mission to develop the scientific and technological knowledge needed to make nuclear fusion energy a viable option to power the world. The Lab chose Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP to streamline and automate business processes and connect all parts of the operation. Oracle Fusion Cloud meets a critical requirement for the Lab: FedRAMP compliance, which means the cloud application satisfies U.S. federal security standards.

CERN

Essential in the discovery of the elusive Higgs boson particle, CERN’s Large Hadron Collider is not only the world’s most powerful particle accelerator, it’s also one of the world’s most complex machines. The massive, 38,000-ton instrument is configured, controlled, and monitored by specialized database-centric applications that interact with millions of parameters—including those related to particle beams and vital equipment—ensuring the collider’s optimal operation. CERN and Oracle have been working together on cloud technology since 2015, through their long-standing partnership in CERN openlab. Production databases are replicated in Oracle Cloud for disaster recovery, and production batch jobs are run on Oracle Cloud compute nodes as part of the batch processing done for physics research. The collider’s reliability is of utmost importance to CERN’s research into the fundamental particles that make up everything around us.

A current Exadata customer, FUJIFILM Business Innovation Asia Pacific has moved their on-premises Oracle E-Business Suite to run on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Laval University

A leader in distance learning, the university has more than 4,000 teachers, lecturers, and faculty and research staff who share their knowledge with over 45,000 students, 26% of whom are in graduate programs. Saudi Arabia Ministry of Housing

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Housing has allocated more than 200,000 plots of land—50,000 of them at no cost—as well as home-building and finance options, all with the goal of meeting the Kingdom’s growing housing needs. The Ministry of Housing, which runs the project and oversees all housing development and real estate projects in the Kingdom, recently moved to Oracle Autonomous Database. The Ministry has seen significantly improved data quality and availability.

Stanbic Bank Kenya

Serving customers across Kenya with a variety of financial products and services, Stanbic Kenya’s rapid growth and future strategic focus required a computing infrastructure that meets these ambitions. TIM Brasil

With a growth rate averaging more than 50% annually over the past four years, Vietnam International Bank (VIB) has the fastest retail bank growth in Vietnam. The company is one of the country’s leaders in providing core retail banking services such as auto, mortgage, and business loans, payment services, deposits, credit cards, and insurance. VIB considers Oracle Cloud Infrastructure part of their multicloud ecosystem to support their sustainable growth.

West Virginia Network for Educational Telecomputing

Created to provide computing and telecommunication services to universities and colleges, West Virginia Network for Educational Telecomputing (WVNET) has expanded to serve K–12 districts, state and county government, and public libraries. BNY Mellon

A US-based information technology consulting firm with expertise in analytics, digital, engineering, and cybersecurity, Booz Allen Hamilton’s work serves businesses, governments, and military organizations. The US’s largest retailer of used vehicles, CarMax wanted one system that could support a transaction from order to inventory to general ledger. Con Edison

Con Edison provides electric, gas, and steam service for 4.5 million customers in New York City and Westchester County, New York. A Germany-based global mechanical and plant engineering firm, Dürr Group’s broad expertise includes robotic technology for automotive production and machines for making wood furniture. Wiggle will add Retail Demand Forecasting Cloud Service to their portfolio to better predict consumer demand as they accelerate growth and expand into new markets.

Australian Data Centres

To provide high security data center services to Australia’s federal government, major telecommunication companies, and businesses, Australian Data Centres needs secure and scalable computing power, and they need it inside the country’s borders. They chose Oracle Dedicated Region Cloud@Customer to provide that cloud computing power, since it provides all the services and advantages of Oracle Cloud, but lets Australian Data Centres put that capacity in an in-country location of their choice. This arrangement should let the Australian government accelerate their move to the cloud.

Arcos Dorados

The world’s largest independent McDonald’s franchisee, Arcos Dorados operates in 20 countries across Latin America and the Caribbean. While nearly half their restaurants were closed at the peak of last year’s COVID-19 pandemic, Arcos Dorados remained committed to their digital transformation and operating cost reductions, including moving core applications such as Oracle E-Business Suite to the cloud and off of a number of disparate environments. After a rigorous selection process that included Oracle and others cloud providers, Arcos Dorados chose Oracle Exadata Cloud Service and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, projecting significant five-year cost savings compared with maintaining their on-premises infrastructure.

Atlantic Lottery

The power of Autonomous Database enables AxiomSL to move existing customers to the cloud and expand their client base.

City of Phoenix

As the fifth-largest and fastest-growing city in the US, with a population of more than 1.7 million, the city of Phoenix has made significant investments in Oracle technology and applications. The city supports 14,000 employees using PeopleSoft and has modernized their Oracle hybrid environment by investing in Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer to improve IT performance and reduce labor costs. Phoenix also uses Oracle Analytics Cloud on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to provide data-driven insights to city leaders and data transparency to residents.

Impartus

A provider of virtual classrooms for more than 530,000 students in India, Impartus’ video-based learning platform lets institutions capture, edit, and distribute learning content in real time and on demand. Through partnerships with leading universities, Impartus is seeing soaring growth of their virtual classroom offering, processing about 500 TB per month of outbound traffic. Hotelbeds, a world leader in the bedbank industry, connects a network of more than 60,000 B2B travel buyers such as tour operators, travel agents, airline websites, and loyalty programs to hotels and other travel services. Those include more than 180,000 hotel properties and 18,000 activities, plus attractions, tickets, and car services worldwide. Hotelbeds needed to modernize their most important software platform used for e-reservations. By using Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer, Hotelbeds has been able to provide the flexibility and elasticity of cloud while preserving the privacy and sovereignty of sensitive data such as credit card information. Hotelbeds expects that moving their booking platform to a cloud service model will result in significant cost savings.

James Avery, a family-owned jewelry retailer with 96 stores, is a current Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) customer using Exadata Cloud Services for their nonproduction applications. ICON Health & Fitness is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of exercise equipment and fitness technology, with innovative brands that include NordicTrack, ProForm, Freemotion, and iFit streaming fitness workouts. ICON sought to capitalize on unprecedented triple-digit growth as people exercised more from home during the pandemic, and looked to Oracle to optimize their systems for inventory, fulfillment, and supply chain planning. ICON turned to Oracle's complete, modern Cloud ERP solution and unified data model to streamline multiple ERP systems.

Iron Mountain

Iron Mountain, a global information management services company, has embarked on a business transformation designed to simplify operations and leverage technology to modernize its processes while enhancing the customer experience. Aligned with their enterprise technology strategy, Iron Mountain selected Oracle’s Cloud ERP and Procurement to achieve these goals and bring their global business together on a single cloud platform.

Jacobs

Jacobs is a global technology and infrastructure solutions provider to the government and private sectors. After some strategic acquisitions and a divestiture, Jacobs sought to consolidate several disparate ERP systems into a single, integrated solution to improve operational efficiency and reporting. It was a competitive situation, but Oracle’s ability to deliver a fully integrated cloud ERP and EPM solution was vital to winning Jacobs’ trust. Oracle Cloud provided Jacobs with improved access to real-time information and accelerated its focus on innovation. In addition, Jacobs provides highly classified solutions to the US government, and Oracle was the only solution under consideration that was FedRAMP-compliant.

KBR

KBR is a provider of engineering, scientific, and technical services to the US Department of Defense, NASA, and customers in the aerospace and defense industry. The majority of KBR’s customers have been in the private sector, but the company’s business has shifted to nearly 75% public sector, and they needed to be better prepared to handle increased regulatory requirements. They also required greater capabilities around rate-based planning to support new cost models and strategies. Moreover, KBR was looking to grow via mergers and acquisitions, and they needed a modern platform that would quickly and easily incorporate new organization structures. Oracle was chosen over OneStream Software for multiple reasons, including greater experience in the aerospace and defense industry, leadership in the EPM space, and expertise in the energy and government contracting industry.

Omega Healthcare

Omega Healthcare of India, a leading healthcare outsourcing provider, is planning for considerable growth with significant outside investments. Their legacy ERP and HCM systems are not scalable or capable enough to support this expected growth. Having one Oracle Cloud platform will provide Omega with the insights needed as well as the transparency and compliance required by their top tier investor. Omega Healthcare selected Oracle over SAP.

Polk County Florida

Polk County, a US county in central Florida, has historically been under-resourced in IT, resulting in limited support and enhancement of their legacy ERP systems. By demonstrating that Oracle’s Cloud HCM and ERP offer a true SaaS model, with pre-integrated HR and finance applications that automatically update regularly, Oracle was selected over other SaaS and legacy competitors.

Qatar Ministry of Transport and Communication

The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the need for the Ministry of Transport and Communication (MOTC) in Qatar to adopt a cloud-first policy giving all government departments and employees the right tools to be productive while working from home. The replacement of their legacy ERP system with Oracle Fusion Applications will provide 108 ministry departments with the ability to be productive and connected, so they can continue to help increase Qatar’s economic activity at a time when their country needs it most.

Randstad India

Randstad India, a global HR service provider operating in nearly 40 countries, is an SAP customer using SAP HANA and Concur. As the company looked at options for their human capital management software, they considered SAP SuccessFactors, but ultimately chose to replace their legacy HCM environment with Oracle Cloud HCM. Realizing that the Oracle solution is way ahead of the competition, Randstad chose modules including core HR, Recruitment, and Time and Labor.

Republic Services

Republic Services, a major player in the recycling and waste services industry, operated finance and procurement functions on a legacy platform made up of various systems. The company knew that by modernizing these systems they could reduce complexity and more easily integrate acquired companies. Oracle partnered with Republic to demonstrate how an integrated platform running off a single data model was a better option than connecting several point solutions. Republic chose Oracle over other competitors because only Oracle’s ERP, EPM, and CX Cloud could deliver a unified platform of front- and back-office services.

skeyes, the Belgian air navigation and traffic service provider, wanted a modern financial platform so they could standardize processes and adopt industry best practices. Oracle’s single cloud solution for finance and procurement and HCM, alongside a single data model for both domains, differentiated Oracle from Workday, who could not offer an integrated suite.

The Warehouse Group

The Warehouse Group, one of New Zealand’s largest retailing groups, has started their migration from Oracle E-Business Suite to Oracle SaaS—including Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM—together with inventory modules from Oracle Retail. They’ve seen an enormous increase in online sales due to COVID-19, so real-time inventory was an absolute must-have to improve back-office efficiency and the customer experience. Key to winning against several competitors was Oracle’s ability to provide a modern, single platform using a unified data model.

Zoom

Zoom has seen demand for their video services increase almost twenty-fold since January, so they needed additional cloud capacity immediately. Within hours of deployment, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure supported hundreds of thousands of simultaneous meeting participants. Zoom is now using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to enable millions of concurrent participants, transferring upward of 8 petabytes per day.

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure and Autonomous Database

8x8

8x8, a cloud communications platform, saw usage of their video meetings solutions take off as COVID-19 spread, now exceeding 20 million monthly active users worldwide. When they moved to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure from AWS, 8x8 achieved 25% better performance per node, at a lower price.

Altair

Altair helps manufacturers run workloads such as computational fluid dynamics and computer-aided engineering to design and build their products. The company has moved high-performance computing workloads to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, including running some of their SaaS applications.

Cybereason

Cybereason, a cybersecurity technology company, relies on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure to deliver their SaaS platform for endpoint protection, response, and analytics. Cybereason will also use bare metal services and Oracle Autonomous Database to run their analytics.

General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA)

Saudi Arabia’s General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) uses Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer to save about 50% while helping to meet government requirements for data protection. By using Oracle Autonomous Database, GACA’s IT team can focus on business innovation instead of database maintenance.

Large European Auto Manufacturer

This large European auto manufacturer will use Oracle Cloud Infrastructure for high-performance computing workloads such as computational fluid dynamics and crash test simulations, which are used in their vehicle development programs. With demand for high-performance computing growing, they needed a highly elastic HPC cloud environment to reduce capital cost and to flexibly scale. They expect to use upward of 15,000 cores by the end of 2020.

Manappuram Finance

Manappuram Finance, a nonbanking financial company, decided to move entirely to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure from their existing IBM stack. They will be deploying in Oracle’s Mumbai data center, with our newly launched Hyderabad region as the disaster recovery site.

Quest Diagnostics

Quest Diagnostics, a world leader in diagnostic testing, expanded their Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer environment, providing additional capacity to migrate their MyQuest Portal Database in anticipation of increased COVID-19 antibody testing.

Santander Bank

Santander Bank, formerly Sovereign Bank, a wholly owned subsidiary of Spanish Santander Group, is consolidating their databases on Oracle Exadata cloud machines, using the autonomous and multitenant capabilities to support the bank’s digital transformation.

SGS

SGS, a leading inspection, verification, testing, and certification company based in Switzerland, expects to lower overall costs by 18% by moving multiple workloads, including more than 34,000 Oracle E-Business Suite users, to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

Sky.One

Sky.One in Brazil helps companies move complex applications to the cloud. The company used to only offer AWS-based options, but after including the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure option, Sky.One now expects to double their consumption of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure in the next six months.

Synacor

Synacor, a cloud-based software and services company that serves video, internet and communications providers, device manufacturers, governments, and businesses, is migrating some of their production SaaS businesses to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, allowing them to shut down several data centers.

TD Bank Group (Canada)

Canada’s TD Bank Group made a multiyear commitment to use Oracle Cloud—including Cloud Infrastructure, Autonomous Data Warehouse, Analytics Cloud, and other cloud services—to move their financial reporting systems from an on-premises configuration to a cloud deployment, improving performance at a lower cost.

Verizon

Verizon Business Group has moved more than 25 mission-and business-critical workloads onto Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, serving customers around the globe. These workloads process more than 200,000 IOPS with 120 TB of data. Verizon uses Oracle Cloud Infrastructure with Exadata Cloud Service, including RAC and Data Guard.

Dick’s Sporting Goods

With brick-and-mortar stores largely closed due to COVID-19, Dick’s expanded their number of agents supporting ecommerce, as well as their CRM RightNow Service Cloud contract, to help handle the significant uptick in the volume of customer inquiries. Through enhanced customer service efforts, with self-service options supporting their ecommerce site, Dick’s was able to maintain a single source of truth for customer data, driving in tandem optimal customer service experiences via their call centers.

Global Networking Company

This global networking company is leveraging Oracle Cloud Digital Supply Chain with a single data model to achieve an end-to-end view of their process to commercialize, plan to produce, and deliver, without data replication. They’re also using Oracle Cloud EPM to modernize the financial planning, close, and consolidation process as the company transforms to a more subscription-based business.

Goldman Sachs

Goldman Sachs, a multinational investment bank and financial services company, migrated from Oracle PeopleSoft and went live on Oracle Cloud HCM in Q4 FY20.

IQVIA

IQVIA, provider of information, services, and technology for the healthcare industry, recently went through a merger. As a result, executive leadership wanted to consolidate disparate PeopleSoft and SAP platforms into one enterprise ERP cloud platform. IQVIA chose Oracle Cloud ERP based on the flexibility and completeness of the suite and the ability to accommodate future directional changes.

JP Morgan Chase

JP Morgan Chase (JPMC) went live in over 100 countries with more than 256,000 employees on Oracle Cloud HCM Cloud Core and Recruiting. Their new career site uses Oracle Cloud Recruiting. JPMC is the largest customer migrating off Taleo to Oracle Cloud Recruiting, with more than 2 million candidates converted.

KPN

KPN, a Dutch telecommunications company, is using Oracle Cloud HCM and ERP to do a complete back-office transformation, planning to reduce the nearly 2,000 applications it currently uses.

Kroger

Kroger, one of the largest grocers in North America with nearly half a million associates, has partnered with Oracle to use the full suite of Oracle Cloud HCM.

Large Multinational Conglomerate

This large multinational conglomerate in Asia added Oracle Cloud ERP to their Oracle Cloud SCM and HCM capabilities. They’ll be rolling out Oracle Cloud ERP and HCM to more than 200,000 employees across multiple subsidiaries worldwide, looking to remove tens of millions of dollars in operating costs.

Mount Sinai Health System

Mount Sinai Health System and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai went live with Oracle Cloud HCM in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, supporting more than 26,000 employees with more modern, accessible tools. They replaced a 30-yr old HR and payroll system.

National Instruments

National Instruments, which produces automated test equipment and virtual instrumentation software, has a COVID response team that is using Oracle Analytics on Fusion HCM to create visualizations to monitor case count and changes for critical locations. These insights help the National Instruments’ HR team understand the situations of their 8,000 employees so they can make important decisions on how to best reopen their facilities.

Petronas

Petronas, a Malaysian oil and gas company, embarked on a global HR transformation program in 2019. Their legacy system is unable to meet their needs going forward, so they chose to partner with us and deploy Oracle Cloud HCM.

Westpac

Westpac, a financial services company, will use Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM to reduce their cost and complexity while helping to meet regulations for the New Zealand business to operate independently from their parent company in Australia.
