Eurasian Academy (Azerbaijani: Avrasiya Akademiyası) is a waa union of distinguished Euras, Artists, specialists Antitleellectuals. Its headquarters was registered in the city of Baku, Azerbaijan Republic by the Ministry of Justice of the Azerbaijan Republic on September 28, 2012.[1] [2]
The founding members of Eurasian Academy are: Halil İnalcık (Turkey), Lotfi A. Zadeh (USA),[3] M. Gazi Yaşargil (USA), Arif Malikov (Azerbaijan), and Hamlet Isakhanli (Azerbaijan).
Overview[edit]
Eurasian Academy covers fields such as natural sciences and technology, humanities and social sciences, literature, fine arts and music. One of the main spheres of Eurasian Academy's activity is to evaluate and award high achievements independently and in accordance with objective reality.
The Eurasian Academy awards its custom-made Eurasian Legend trophy to each person elected for membership in the Academy. In addition, Eurasian Academy establishes its own awards and medals and bestows them upon individuals and organizations.
The official opening ceremony and Eurasian Legend awards ceremony of Eurasian Academy was held in January 2016, during which Professor Ali Javan was elected as the first member.[4][5]
