I sometimes RT without comment to share other views on the TL; but not to endorse. Just going to leave that here. There's not enough space to put that in a bio.

  2. This makes me a little sad, but... if it is ultimately not what he wants (after what he experienced/what happened with the producer) then he has every right to look towards all the other possibilities that arose as a result of the quest. That's a win within itself. Happy for him.

Here is how the Nicki Minaj story was covered on CNC3 Television in Port of Spain, Trinidad. I assure you this is worth all 2:20 and it's probably better than any U.S. network covered the story

So California rejected Larry Elder. Weird that a large, racially diverse state doesn’t want to be led by a guy who thinks George Zimmerman is a hero, Stephen Miller should be president, slaveowners deserved reparations, COVID should proliferate and the minimum wage should be $0.

  6. I actually liked AOC's dress at the Met Gala and some of these critiques of it, on both sides, are tired as hell. At a minimum, she got some y'all talking and Googling about the effed up tax system, so she still gets the W.

Tucked around the corner on 52nd Place in Hyde Park’s bustling downtown sits the permanent location of Chicago’s first and only Black-led, trans-led LGBTQ+ resource center on the South Side.

I am heartbroken over the death of Allison Payne. For 21 years she was theee face of for me, a little black girl living in Bolingbrook, IL. My parents moved my bedtime to 9:30p so that I could watch the nightly news with & Steve Sanders. (1/3)

I don't care if the "unofficial" end of summer is Labor Day, we gotta reclaim those other couple of weeks!

As much as people dislike the decision, canceling the Chicago Pride Parade this year was a good idea. Why? Because: Delta.

  18. It is RIDICULOUSLY hot and humid in Chicago right now. Like, it is oppressive. I just swapped a pair of jeans for a pair of cute shorts because there is no way in h-e-l-l I'm about to make myself even hotter out here. (I mean that literally, cause the shorts themselves are 🔥.)

  20. This is my second week of making it to the gym at least three days a week. Progress, not perfection, is the name of the game. My trainer wants 5 days out of me, and maybe I'll get there eventually, but I know I don't want to spend all of my free time working out.
