Dave and his crew from Cupertino Roofing did a superb quality job resurfacing our Metacrylic flat roof and completed it 2 consecutive days. Our roof was 10 years old and needed resurfacing prior to installing a solar system. I received 4 bids with 3 of the bids that included additional work than was not needed - including one that would tear off the whole roof and replacing it with a new one. Dave pointed out exactly what needed to be done and not needed to be done and subsequently was not only the lowest bid but I felt was the best quality bid. He also fixed a valley area of our composition roof. His commitment to his work was apparent when Dave worked closely with the solar installers to make sure their hardware was properly sealed to the new surface, with the correct material, and then took the time to inspected it after the solar stand-offs and rails were installed. Our home is several decades old, with a flat roof with several low spots where water ponds and around 5 skylights. We had persistent leaking since we purchased it in early 2010. For a leak near one skylight, we had a different company come out. I think they did an OK job, but then they disappeared when we had a leak in a different area. We had KRAM come out with an Angie's list special. They did a fair amount of work, including building up one of the main areas where water was ponding. But they didn't do all the agreed-upon work, so they had to come out on a second trip. There was definitely a wish to please the customer, but there seemed to be a little communication problem between the guy who worked with us and the workers. We had KRAM come out once more when a leak popped up again, and I think their work was fine on that occasion. The biggest problem I had with KRAM was that they never found that the skylights themselves were not properly sealed, though they thoroughly sealed the roof areas next to the skylights. An individual who does occasional building-related work for us suggested that might be a problem. After we paid him a couple hundred dollars to seal all of our skylights (the interface between the transparent bubble and the skylight "well"), we haven't had any more leaks. I understand that skylights may not be KRAM's specialty, but I would have hoped that they would either be able to check and fix them, or would have at least suggested I have them all checked out -- I thought they had checked them out and found them OK.

My neighbors alerted me that a few asphalt shingles had come off of my roof. Precision roofing came over, inspected my roof, and recommended some repairs as well to a vulnerable portion of my rear roof deck. The work was done quickly, and I'm pleased with the result.

Once the project was able to start due to the rain the job went very well. Price is a little more that other company's, but the guarantee/warranty is very very good. I will use them again as I was very pleased with the sales representative as well other communication I had. They also install windows and do painting. This is a plus to be able to fix your home with one company.

Good communication with us as we looked at issues that came up, and made decisions about how to handle details that arose along the way. I was impressed that they did a nice job of completing the finishing touches on the roof at the end of the job. And a nice clean up job.

Roof had to be demoed and replaced. Turned out there was a sub roof that also had to be removed. They were professional, did a great job, cleaned up everything. My sister was very pleased with their work.

After the initial inspection was done, it was determined that there was more damage than was originally anticipated. A revised proposal was done and the additional work was agreed upon. We had a date set but we had some weather issues so he got in touch with me and said you know, look, I know you need this done by whatever particular date, I promise you we will be there Friday, and sure enough, Friday morning, they showed up about 9 o'clock and those guys worked all day. They were at my house until 8:30 or 8:45 at night finishing it. It took a day, it was done. I was just super impressed. He gave me a five-year guarantee. He was right there in town. I wrote him a check so he gave me a little discount for tax which was cool. He was just a super great guy, was super professional. The price is great, they were nice and friendly.

My husband decided to have new proof install before the raining season comes on 2009. Their price was the most competitive. Therefore we went ahead and signed contract with Chris. Our unfortunate had begun after hired him. The job didn't complete before the heaviest rain in the season hit us. We spoke with Chris on the phone multiple times and tried to ensure temporary sealing was put to prevent leaking. They are basically ignored the request and just put out some light plastic sheet (like light trash bag) over part of the roof. Of course, the roof leaked. Those plastic sheets got blow away. Leaks everywhere at the house; closet, living room, bedroom, dining room; garage was almost flooded. So we call Chris immediately and the response was "I am off of my hands on this. This case has passed to my associate, Jon or you may talk to my boss directly." His associate didn't show up until 3 hours later. My house was already soaked. My husband and I missed work because we had to stay home catching rain water. Could had filed home insurance claim and have my insurance company deal with the rest, we thought about the negative impact may cause to their roofing company, so we didn?t do it. Long story shorten, Chris said he was not the in-charge anymore, however, when the job at 90% finish. We received several threaten and annoying phone calls. He tried to collect the money of the project. Very frustrating? We almost needed to go to court and resolve this.

Project went very well. I communicated with the owner, Ryan, throughout the process. I had a lot of questions during bidding because I'm an inquisitive homeowner and and I felt Ryan was responsive, patient, detailed, and honest. Customer service was evident during the project, I would get a daily afternoon phone call from Ryan with progress update. there was one evening when I left a message for Ryan at 5pm regarding an important issue and he called back that evening (7pm) and arranged to have a specialist look at the problem the next morning. Also, six months after the project finished, I noticed one of the vents was loose. I let Ryan know about it and his team fixed it right away. Overall, I am very satisfied with Saber Roofing.
