The day prior to pouring, 8/28/14, lines were approved and met grade. The day of pouring, the Contractor increased lines 1.5"-2" without Project Manager's approval creating over-pours to grade in the kitchen, hallway, pizza area and 1 exit to the patio, leaving transition hazards. On 10/7/14, I received an estimate from the same Contractor for an additional $3,750.00 to fix the problems they caused. I have filed complaints with the Contractors State License Board and BBB. When I first reviewed their License, I could not find anything wrong. Now, digging deeper on the CSLB website, I have found a "Case Violation Disclosure" filed 12/2013 for "Criminal Conviction Regarding Contracting" and "Conviction of a Substantially Crime". I wish I would have see this before, and I never would have used them. If you're thinking about using them, this violation can be verified at: https://www2.cslb.ca.gov/onlineservices/checklicenseII/CaseViolationDisclosure.aspx?LicType=LIC&LicNum=916924&LmfPre=&Region=N&FiscalYear=2009&SeqNbr=460&ActionCde=DPRV&Status=PREVIOUS+CASE&LicName=GLOBAL+VILLAGE+CONSTRUCTION+INC&StatusDt=12/06/2013&Complaints=PREVIOUS%20CASE You've been warned.
