Arbel has a master's degree in architecture and very well known for his creative design, eagerness to work, and diligent work. He has designed several projects for this Corporation and we continue to work with him. His modern design ideas can help the clients have a better and more modern concept matched to the 21st century needs.

After creating and submitting the plans, Andy went with me to the Planning Commission hearing for the conversion and has also represented me at the Building Department. This was approximately a three month process, which could have taken much longer had I not had Andy's expertise and professionalism. Andy was quick to respond when I had a question or request. He was easily reached by phone or email. Andy took care of every detail necessary to get through both planning and building departments. His great knowledge of San Francisco codes made the process go smoothly. Andy is very easy and pleasant to work with. I highly recommend Andy and would use him as my architect for any other building projects.

He was very nice. He does high end residential and he specializes in lighting. He was way too specific and too high level. His quote was very high. He does a lot of commercial. He came in a nice suit and did a nice presentation. We can't spend $20,000 for the architectural design and we were looking for something simpler. He had the highest price. He was a nice person but he didn't meet our needs. He was responsive and came on time. He was very professional.

John and his crew at Momentum AE were wonderful from start to finish. John helped me design my first residential home and ADU (accessory dwelling unit) in Santa Cruz. His knowledge of architecture and engineering made the design portion of the home a breeze. We purchased a 3,000 sq ft home in Orinda (built in 1952) that needed significant remodeling. David guided us through the processes for: 1) redesigning the flow of the rooms of the home, 2) making the most of our existing space (including adding in extra storage) and 3) adding a formal entry space, family room, master bathroom and exterior arbors. David exceeded our expectations with his professional counsel, personal attention and general comittment to our project. We recently completed our project and are absolutely thrilled with David's work. We HIGHLY recommend him to others in need of an architect for either residential or commercial projects. Our project was 4 months of planning and 8 months of construction.

I hired Cerletti & Kennedy for the earthquake retrofit of my home and garage. Matt Kennedy really knows his business and I was easily able to understand his explanations. The crew were all neat and efficient. I wish I had known about this company years earlier!

These guys are very busy and there's a good reason to that- they're work is phenomenal!!! I was under the impression that a kitchen that old will take more than two months to complete and Eli and his crew were able to complete the whole thing in 5 weeks! I was very impressed with the quality of workmanship, the guys are very clean, fast, respectful and really take their work seriously. A good friend recommended Levitch Associates to us. We were immediately pleased that Levitch Associates offers design/build service. I am happy to report that our friend didn’t steer us wrong, as we have nothing but good things to say about our experience with this recommendation. Levitch Associates is a multi-generational family business. Maurice Levitch, our architect, is the son of the company founder, Edward Levitch. I am from a family of out-of-state builders, myself. When a family puts its name on their business, it means that their reputation is on the line. All of our interactions with the various Levitch family members were warm and professional. Maurice’s work was creative and his crew of builders delivered top-notch construction. We love our new kitchen! And, builders from my family have complimented the quality of the work completed by Levitch Associates. It seems to us that the Levitch Family takes great pride in the quality of their work, in the relationships with their clients, and in the integrity of their family name.

Two weeks ago my partner filled out the contact form to schedule a consultation for two projects, and we never heard back. I understand if they're too busy to take on more work, but it would have been nice to get some reply.

At the referral of a friend, we contacted Evolve Construction to discuss a complete kitchen upgrade in our home. From the start, we found the project manager to be friendly, professional, and extremely helpful. He was always very patient in working with us and helpful in his advice on design ideas. Never once did we feel rushed or that he was pushing for our business. Evolve's crew is also fantastic, friendly, hardworking, and professional. We found the cost and time frame of the project both to be very reasonable. We are thrilled with our beautiful new kitchen! Thank you Evolve Construction.

We are a small business: Bright Green Strategies, in Santa Cruz. Rockwood sub-contracted us to perform the Title 24 energy calculations required by permitting authorities to pass plan check for construction. The owe us $950 for three of these that we delivered in 2012. Since then we have been attempting to collect from them, to no avail. They will not answer their phone, they don't return their Voice Mails, they don't reply to their email. I would be willing to set up a payment plan if they need it.Their web site shows fancy designs and products, but if they don't face up to their responsibilities, then it shows a very un-professional business.

S&L is great!! I have nothing put positive things to say about this business. I looked up a few other companies and saw this one had good Yelp reviews and am so glad I went with them. They're professional, have a great team and did an amazing job with my office restoration! Everything was done in a timely manner and all my questions were answered and understood. As my first renovation S&L made it simple, fast, and everything ran so smoothly! The work was very thoughtfully done and you can tell how thorough and professional the job was. I was quoted by 6 contractors before them but none felt like the right fit until this home remodeling contract came along. Thank you guys for your awesome communication, timeliness, and execution! As far as general contractors go, you're in good hands with these guys!

We found Everlast Construction after a friend gave us Ariel phone number, we were looking to remodel a house we just bought and wanted an entirely in-home design and build a team to handle the project. After consulting with other companies, we were ultimately drawn to Everlast Construction because of their attractive showroom they took us, they work with amazing showroom that we able to find all of the items we needed. We are a young couple and other companies didn't take our needs very seriously thinking we wouldn't have much business to offer, but Everlast Construction treated us like we were their most important client. Ariel Baleli always greeted us with a smile, we signed the contract a week later and they began working on our home as if we were the first in line. Less than six months later we were moving into the house of our dreams and they still keep in touch with us to make sure everything is looking good and their craftsmanship is lifetime quality.

Never completed all the work required. Was late with the work he did produce. Never received an adequate accounting of where the money we gave him was used. He was supposed to help us figure some difficult redesign options for an addition to our home. His recommendations were simplistic and had obvious issues that would prevent them from working for us. Nice guy, just a very limited skill set and poor business practices.

Over a week later I had still not received his proposal so I called him. Mr. Bowman said he had sent it to me and asked for my email address again and said he would resend it. I waited another week and called him again. He said that he had never sent a proposal and that he was "thinking about" sending me a letter declining the work. It is great to be busy and in demand but I found Mr. Bowman's misrepresentations to be very unprofessional.

Lee Hammack performed all the architectural services for our house remodeling project from initial conception through to final approval. Throughout, Lee was professional and business-like. He was straightforward and did everything he said he would do. As it was our first remodeling project, he kept us informed of everything as it was happening, and warned of potential "gotchas". Architecturally, Lee had many creative ideas, yet always worked collaboratively with our ideas. He was pragmatic and detail-oriented. When problems or challenges arose, he informed us and involved us in the resolution. His experience helped to guide our project through the city permitting process. Overall, the project was a success. We had none of the horror stories usually associated with house remodels. We did a lot of re-design with Lee prior to beginning the work. As a result, the design that went out to the contractor for bid was very close to what was finally built. As a result, the project completed within the initial estimates (provided by Lee) and within the contractor's bid. It also completed on schedule. We would recommend Lee to anyone pursuing work on their home -- whether it is a small or large project.
