The Perse is a historic school, and in its near 400 year history it had gained a national reputation for academic excellence and extra curricular achievement.  Its alumni include two Nobel Prize winners for Science, the literary critic F.R Leavis, the Theatre director Sir Peter Hall, and guitarist Dave Gilmour of Pink Floyd. The Perse School is ranked 25th in Britain and 1st in the East in a list of top independent schools published by The Sunday Times.

Why it’s in the Showcase: The Perse School’s website is a robust use of WordPress as a CMS. The site features over 200 pages of content and uses featured images, a homepage slider, and form integration to create a full-featured website for the top-ranking school.
