Meetup offers an application programming interface. These Meetup API License Terms govern the use of the Meetup API, and are in addition to the {terms_of_service}. Except as explicitly stated, the Meetup Terms of Service apply in full to all users of the Meetup API. In particular and for the avoidance of doubt, any terms herein are governed by the indemnification, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution terms set forth in Sections 7, 8, and 9 of the Meetup Terms of Service. The Meetup API provides support for {link}. We require {bold} for all API access. If your application does not use HTTPS, our servers will respond with a 400 error and a message asking you to do so.

We provide implementations of both the {link1} and {link2} protocol flows. We provide the following endpoints for both where necessary.

Before you can use OAuth 2 for user authorization, you need to either {link1} a new OAuth consumer or add a {highlight} to your existing consumer by clicking the edit link next to you consumer`s {link2}. The {highlight} you register for a given client will be used to validate future oauth2 requests.

This uri is used as a basis for validating the address authorization requests will redirect a member to after granting or denying access to your app.
