The WordPress Translation Day Celebrations have been going on in full swing, as communities around the world organized a bunch of exciting local events over the past couple of weeks. We are already in the middle of September, and it is time for another exciting part of our celebrations: Our Global Events! Join Abha Thakor, Erica Varlese, and Petya Raykovska, as they introduce the WordPress Translation Day and inaugurate the global events in a fun interactive session! The session will feature a short but fun presentation on the state of WordPress translations. There will also be a short video presentation on how to translate WordPress (aimed at beginners), which will be followed by a short group discussion, live Q&A, and fun activities! Right after this session at 11:00 UTC, we will be organizing a “drop-in” translation sprint, open to all, on Zoom. Anyone can join and hang out with your Polyglots friends from all around the world and translate WordPress in their own language, virtually!
