    Comment: I am installing 3 heat pump cassettes in my home. Greenwood Heating came out to start the installation and found wood i-joists instead of 2x12 joists. There is not enough room for the cassette with the i-joist flange. I am looking for an engineer to design a solution so we can remove ~0.75 inches of flange for 4ft, on both sides, for the 3 cassettes. I'm not sure if a metal strap would work on the bottom of the flange, or if we need to open up the other side and shore up the web. Looking for someone to design the solution and stamp calcs.
