Fitzgerald handled so much work in our home, French drain in our back yard, finishing the remodel of our bathroom from our previous contractor that was unable to complete the job, and re-do countertops, sink and faucet in kitchen, including chimney work, electrical and plumbing, as well as painting and more. Not only were they professional, but such good and quick work. In two weeks, they completed so much more than our previous contractor did in three months. We can finally live in our house and will continue to use Fitzgerald Home Improvements in the future.

Eric was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, quick to respond, he showed up on time every time. And most of all, he listens to my concerns and addressed them all. His staff was pleasant and hard working. We had mold in multiple locations, he tested for it, documented it with pictures, and provided a thorough remediation plan. The clean up was exceptional. Overall the experience was good and I believe I picked the right contractor. Although the process was more exhausting that I had imagined initially.
The whole process took about 10weeks and 4 trips out due to an insufficient reduction in radon and modifications to the mitigation system. I'm not saying another contractor could have done it quicker or with higher quality, but I'm just sharing my experience.
The first visit resulted in a cracked and crumbling interior basement wall where the hole was drilled. The second visit resulted in a twisted exterior vent system that occured after installing a larger fan. The third visit was exploratory to review possibilities to install a second access point. The fourth visit masterfully routed the second access point through the rafters. This prevented the need for additional outdoor piping and looked good. Unfortunately, the seal around the access point didn't seal and sucks air in from the basement.
Overall I'd recommend the contractor, but I'd expect a lot of trial and error to get to a final solution.

Gene, as is evident, comes highly recommended. We compared a couple of services nonetheless but chose Gene after discussing the job details with him. He was prompt, courteous and patient. He assuaged our apprehensions as he carefully explained the asbestos abatement to us.
In addition, he was extremely flexible regarding change of date of abatement, which was delayed by almost a month, due to another project of ours.. His crew was extremely pleasant and eased the unpleasant hazmat experience with thoughtful, helpful gestures. The guys worked hard and did an excellent job; all at a fair, reasonable and most competitive price.
