TIL right wingers are now citing the Nuremberg Code as some sort of rallying cry against vaccines.

Gerrymandering? Majority on Supreme Court? Gun control? Abortion access? Climate Change? All of these are fights they have lost because Democratic politicians lack the guts to do what is needed to get shit done. We need less Pelosi & Hoyer and more AOC and Sanders

Wanna know why the US doesn’t have Universal Healthcare like the rest of the world? Obama squandered his opportunity to get it done when Dems had control over House and Senate

When will Democrats stop with this bipartisan bullshit and belief that you have to negotiate your way to a winning vote. The GOP has been kicking the Democrats’ asses for decades as a result.

Knowing WCAG isn't the same as understanding accessibility. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

Overlay vendors continue to prove themselves unworthy of the free advice people are giving them. When they stop trying to gaslight everyone and stop lying about what their products do, then they are worthy of the free feedback and advice.

Like the guy who owns the property at the end of my street, overlay vendors don’t deserve your time until they *earn* the right to get your time.

The same goes for overlays. Some folks are basically functioning as free consultants for these shysters. When you tell them what they’re doing wrong and tell them what they should do, you’re their consultant

But his intentionally allowing the property to become an eyesore proves that he doesn’t really want to cooperate with the community.

This is a metaphor for . What this guy is actually proving is that he’s not to be trusted. During all of these zoning meetings, he makes all of these promises about how he’ll make sure the traffic isn’t an issue, etc.

The guy thinks that if he allows the property to become an eyesore, the community will relent to his wishes. But it is actually backfiring.

The hedges are so tall that they obstruct the view for anyone safely making a left turn out of our street.

So, what does he do? He lets the property fall into disrepair. The house that’s there is falling apart, the grass is 2feet tall and there’s a row of hedges facing both streets that are horribly overgrown.

The property owner has attempted to get this property re-zoned multiple times for his Dunkin and the neighborhood is consistent in their resistance.

This means the morning line of cars for people to get their Dunkin will spill into both roads, making that intersection even more dangerous.

But here’s the problem: that intersection is dangerous af. Our road is 25mph while the cross road is 50mph. Where the Dunkin would be is close to some houses and the overall property isn’t that big.

There’s a guy who bought the property at the end of my street and wants to tear down the house to put up a Dunkin Donuts. Now, I’m a fan of the Boston Cream donut and being able to walk 1/3 mile for one is an awesome idea.
