Write a ReviewArrogant drivers. Acted like they were doing me a favor. Scratched my hardwood floors, and they were not careful with my goods. They were supposed to crate my big screen TVs. They did not! I can list dozens of individual irritating incidents. Broke a table lost tie screws to my my table and beds together. Absolutely horrible experience!!
My contact for iMovers was very responsive to my questions and concerns. My ONLY issue was the time it took to be delivered, 5 weeks. It did work out ok because we had a storage building (20' x 40') locally and packed with our stuff we left in Texas. It took us awhile to unpack all of that and have room for our stuff coming from NC. The driver that delivered it was OUTSTANDING! I cannot speak highly enough of him. All in all, I would recommend them for your move.
If you are moving anything of value, you should micro-manage the packing. The guys that actually lead the project are really good guys and easy to interact with. However, they did not wrap a few items that were clearly fragile and these items broke in the process. Also, very important -they did not estimate the pricing well at all. We paid double what they quoted because they did not take the time to understand what we were moving and how that would be priced.
I received an estimate for a full pack and move for a 1B apartment from NYC to Washington, DC. Once my items were loaded on the truck, they presented me with an incremental bill for almost three times the original estimate. They requested cash for the **full amount** before scheduling my delivery. Their revised estimate was for 1,600 cubic feet; my apartment was 720 square feet. They would not arrange delivery until payment had been received in full. In short, they will extort you for money once they have your items in their possession. Beware!
I was quoted a particular price for my move. Once they got all of my stuff on the truck they claimed that I had too much space and doubled the quoted price. Very deceitful in my opinion. They told me that my stuff would be delivered between 7-10 days and it came 3 weeks later. I wish they had not told me that and instead informed me that it might take longer.
They need to be a little cleaner on the prices, they did work with me. I felt they were fair.
