They collaborated with approximately 20 households on our private road, answered all of our questions, and did a walk through with residents before, during and after the project. The price was reasonable, they were responsive, punctual and completed the project on time. (Before this reasphalt project, Silva & Silva replaced our broken storm drain and reasphalted it to help make our street safe! That project was also done timely, completed with excellence & was affordable for the residents on our street.

    We had 5 companies bid for this job. Jesse B. from Joe's Paving took the time to listen to what we wanted and did a great job explaining the scope of the work required. The project was a long narrow driveway shared with two other neighbors. We had to do a combination of concrete and asphalt because of the grade in the drive. They coordinated each section well and worked ahead of schedule. Jesse also helped arrange delivery and installation of rocks for ground cover near the asphalt around our house.     We solicited three bids for the project. Joe's Paving was the lowest bid. When picking up the rock from their vendor there was an error and more rock than ordered was provided to Joe's paving. They applied the excess rock, almost double our original expectation, at no additional cost to us. At a minimum it must have increased their labor cost to spread the rock. As it turned out the amount of gallonage set aside for our job turned out not to be sufficient. The access road was "rougher" than anticipated. The project was completed the first thing the following morning and again at no increase in cost to us. An area of about 40 square feet part way up the access road had extensive cracks and the area was patched with asphalt concrete. This was not part of the bid and was included at no cost to us. I've had work performed by painters, electricians, plumbers, roofers and carpenters. Joe's Paving was superior in every way to any other contractor with whom I have previously dealt. I would unreservedly recommend them

    It was a very challenging job, we had a very steep hill with a crumbling road and several of the other contractors declined even bidding on it. We had drainage problems and the road was so bad it had to be replaced, an overlay would not work. We obtained a lot of estimates and after talking with Joe's paving it was clear these guys knew what they were talking about. Joe's bid wasn't the cheapest at first glance but when we saw his bid included 3" thick of asphalt, not 1.5" like the others, included the grading that needed and included a seal coat, his estimate was clearly the "best value" and would give the best and longest lasting results. The fact that he had his own equipment and had done difficult jobs like ours was a comfort. This was a community road with 8 homeowners, all with different opinions about how it should be done. Sean, the owner personally came out to speak to all the homeowners and explain the process and made some changes to accommodate each of us. It took us some time to coordinate everyone's schedule and Joe's paving was excellent to deal with every step of the way. They showed up on time with a full crew of guys. He knew we had 8 homeowner's who needed access to their homes and so they worked late to finish the entire job in 2 days, other contractors were quoting 4 and 5 days. After day 1 we walked the road with the site foreman and made a few changes which they accommodated at no charge! The results are fantastic, all the homeowners were happy with the results, they were really a pleasure to work with and I would use them again in a heartbeat.     From the time I called them they came out immediately and gave me my estimate. they worked with me so the job could be done at a time convenient to me. the crew showed up exactly on time and they did an excellent job. After they were finished I realized the exit gate would not close due to the height of the asphalt on the edge so I called and they returned immediately. I would most definitely use them again

    Thomas, sales, assured & described remedy for each concern including low spot where water pools. Admitted that they are not the low bid because they are superior in workmanship. Delayed start due to material pick-up. told it would still be dry by 5pm. Lawrence walk the project identified all issues including the only low spot where water pools. the crew worked efficiently enough to solicit and complete two neighbor's projects that same day. cracks were still very visible. Lawrence said I would have to wait 6 months and repeat the process for and additional $1500 to completely fill the cracks. The area did not dry by 5 but took over 24 hours to be walkable. I paid them in full immediately. A week later the water pooled at the low spot as before. no difference. I sent photos with an email. No response from the company. I followed up with a phone call. Lawrence said there was nothing they could do and refused to come look. I am very disappointed
