Ms. Stubblefield joined APUS in October of 2004. During her tenure, Ms. Stubblefield has held the following roles within Finance: Assistant Controller, Vice President & Controller, and Special Projects. In her current role as Vice President of Finance and Administration at APUS, Ms. Stubblefield works closely with the APUS President and leadership team, as well as the SVP and Controller of APEI, playing a central role in major undertakings at the institution. Among her many priorities, Ms. Stubblefield is also the APUS Governance Lead where she ensures consistency and compliance with the APEI/APUS shared services agreement.
Prior to joining APUS, Ms. Stubblefield had over 10 years’ experience working in corporate finance. Her roles included Director of Finance for Endless Horizons, Inc. - a consolidation of businesses, including a multi-year government contract with the Department of Labor. Additionally, Ms. Stubblefield was Finance Manager for Accenture, a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company. Responsibilities in these roles included reporting & analysis, forecasting & planning, cost management analysis and working capital reviews. During her time at Accenture, Ms. Stubblefield also assisted with many special projects, including process development and training for a new finance shared services group established in Chicago, IL.
Ms. Stubblefield received a B.S. degree in Accounting from Villanova University.
