I cant' say how happy I am with this Bassett. This past spring, I began getting estimates to remove a 1960's deck and replace it with a screenroom/deck on my new home. As background, I am a DIYer and have done fairly extensive renovations myself on my rental houses so I have experience but not a pro. I had a budget, but quality and workmanship was a priority for me as this was going on my personal house and I had wanted one for decades. I met with 5 companies but chose Bassett. Steve came out a couple hours with me (no-hassle) getting an idea of what I wanted and going over options. There were some things I really wanted and others I wanted to forego and he worked with me to get into my budget. The short of it: Communication, timing and clean up and follow through were great and Diego their operations guy, kept in touch with me every step of the way. The real differentiation to me was the quality and attention to detail. Jaime, and his team (the onsite builders) used to be a cabinet maker so they build to really tight tolerances and precision cuts. I included some detailed pictures to show. I mean every piece of this fits like a Swiss clock. 5 months later, and nothing has changed. I got a couple upgrades that other companies didnt even offer (solid wood tongue and groove ceiling, cedar beams, etc). They were competitively priced and VERY competitively priced when you consider the workmanship and material quality. It is by far my favorite room of the house and I have had several neighbors ask for their number since spending time on it. You wont be disappointed. These pictures don't show the gutters and downspouts that were added a couple days later but they are same great quality. I highly recommend.

The project was challenging. A shifting roof load caused an exterior log wall to bulge resulting in serious structural issues. What impressed me about Josiah Robey and Strong Construction was the firm s emphasis on quality repairs. He went the extra mile to diagnose the problems and resolve them. He takes the time to help the homeowner understand what he is doing and why. On time. On budget. Meets expectations. I would not hesitate to work with his company again.

We had little concern before they started the job, because he looks young, and their review with ANGI is not as many as others yet. However, they did fantastic job! They were very patient and willing to go extra miles when we points some areas we need them to give special love. They do job fast and responsible. The final look with our exterior house and deck is great! Quality is even better than we expected! This afternoon, one of our neighbors passed by our house, and praised it a lot. David and Robin replaced the trim around both of my garage doors due to water damage/rot. They used vinyl trim, flashed, caulked, and repainted everything. David also walked around my house with me and pointed out several other areas of concern. He made it clear he was not trying for extra business since he had plenty. He mainly just wanted me to be aware of steps I could take to prevent future headaches and protect my house.

It was a pleasure to have Raul repair the tile in my shower. From the initial conversation (where we discussed the issue and he provided an estimate) to the final one (where I paid him a very reasonable price for the services rendered), he was polite and professional. He arrived precisely on time both days and respected social distancing (important in these times) while performing the repairs. The quality of the work was excellent. My shower now looks like new and there is no evidence that it has been repaired.
For reasonable pricing and highest quality work, I highly recommend Punch Renovation and Construction.
I plan to call Raul for other jobs as the need arises.
