STARA er tímarit og leitast við að efla umræðu og þekkingu á myndlist ásamt því að segja frá starfsemi SÍM.

STARA er bæði á íslensku og ensku, og höfðar jafnt til fagfólks sem og áhugafólks um myndlist. Tímarit kemur út tvisvar á ári, apríl og október.

Tímarit er opið öllum og er aðgengilegt hér á heimasíðu SÍM. Einnig eru prentuð út 500 eintök á íslensku sem dreift er frítt.

STARA is an online magazine created with the vision and aim to strengthen and contribute to artistic knowledge, as well as being a platform to share information about SÍM.

STARA is both published in Icelandic and English and is created equally for professionals within the art field as well as interested people from other fields.

The magazine is published 2.times a year; in April and October.

The magazine is open to everyone and can be accessed via the SIM website. It is also printed in 500 copies in Icelandic and distributed for free.

STARA is published by the The Association of Icelandic Visual Artist.
