Steffen Thorsen is the founder, owner, and CEO of Time and Date AS. What he started as a student project in 1995, has grown into the world-leading online resource for time and time zone tools and so much more!

Time and Date Offices

In June 2019, we moved our offices to a new airy and fun space. The bright and modern work environment inspires creativity as well as social interaction.

Our offices are located at Forus, just outside Stavanger, Norway.

Passion for Space

Creating services involving the Sun and Moon, we have developed a bit of an obsession for astronomy, particularly solar and lunar eclipses. We're proud to collaborate with NASA, ESA, observatories, astrophysicists, and astronomy enthusiasts all over the world. We haul telescopes and an enormous amount of computers and cables with us to LIVE stream eclipses for the whole world to see. So far, we have captured spectacular eclipse footage from locations like Angola, Greece, Morocco, and Argentina. And there are more to come!
