The Laboratory for Theoretical and Experimental Economics (LaTEx) was created in 2000 by Giovanni Ponti and his collaborators at Departamento de Fundamentos de Análisis Económico of the University of Alicante. Its challenge is to offer innovative answers to decision problems faced by agents in the market: consumers, firms and governments. The laboratory allows researchers to verify experimentally possible theories that explain the behavior of agents whilst controlling for extraneous factors which would otherwise interfere with their scientific verification.
The laboratory in which experiments are conducted has 24 PCs in a local network and a server. It is located in the second floor of the Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Empresariales.
If you are interested in participating in paid experiments and wish to receive invitations in the future, please register here.
