    My approach to cold outreach: Give a shit about the other person. If you're going to ask for a stranger's attention, the least you could do is take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with their work. They'll notice. You'll stand out from the crowd.

    I was in the airport today in LA and overheard a TSA agent telling his colleagues about the importance of a niche. Then he said he read about it from some guy on Twitter named “Manduh” Natividad. I smiled and went back to writing marketing tweets. The internet is incredible.
