Incredibly well. Marco’s work is amazing. He shows up on time and ready to work. I trust him implicitly and would recommend him for any type of painting, drywall, and general handyman work.

I would like to think Home smiles for their professionalism. I have often had handyman come out to do certain tasks in my home with mediocre results. By hiring Home smiles It was probably one of the best decisions I’ve made. Their workers were on time, performed all tasks better than I could hope for and left my home very clean. They were perfect organization. We have worked with them so many times in the past and they are good listeners, take your instructions and follow them and do good work.

It was horrible. Basically, I was having 3 of them sound proof for a wall, and did not know how because they build it up and it was not sound proof, and come to find out, they just got to be pretending they know how. They do a lot more talking than they do working, they are very sociable. There were 3 of them that showed and should bring his son and did good work, but is not the knowledgeable one. And the dad, who is the owner of the handyman place, he does the majority of talking and he failed to show up but he showed up hours later when on the deadline, and when he finally got around to showing up, I fired them and did not let them come in because I could not stay with them for another day of talking. Once again, they did not sound proof the walls. I have to have them rip that again like somebody else. I did pay them $600 to be able to do what they were doing. How they built was they charged that by day, and I had a lot of projects on handyman services, they have a lot of projects that needed to be done. So, I am willing to pay, 2 or 3 people by the day, as long as they consistently work but they did not. They worked probably 2 and a half hours out of the entire day, locating who was working like when 2 people would not work and 1 person would work and he has his son even work. He and older gentleman that worked with him, the older gentleman will take to train, his son and his older gentleman working. He rarely work, he just look around, had some knowledge but not enough. He actually said he had more knowledge than what he had to be able to make the business offer which is sound proofing. And during all this, everybody was part of the house, just never got them. They put in it, got them 3 and a half hours to put on 3 door lock, and one of them upside down. One of them, needed help and it was an incredibly sad experience. They took off with one of my key door lock to have it rekey. Lot of projects, one of them was putting door locks, they tried some proofing for 3 walls, they failed to sound proof all free. And I have them with that again. They charged by the day, guaranteeing me 2 to 3 workers each day working from discipline which case only one of them at a time was working up to them in totality like if you count it up for hours and the day was only 6 hour day and it should have been 8 hour a day. They were hired basically they were there for one day. I was giving them an opportunity to prove there is still knowledge to do the work the next day. They work a lot to come pack it. This was a couple of months ago. They charged me for $600 for a day for several people. I gave them the $600 for the one day time, and their people should they pay for their work where I held back was his son is actually doing a lot of the work. I gave them the $600, when I saw them the next day, they showed up 3 hours later than what they were supposed to, leaving me hanging on the house waiting for them, when they find me under them it was okay for them to show up 3 hours later than what they are able to know what they grade upon. So, I did not allow them to come in, I told them they have to go home. They charged me $600 for one person working and they really knew what they are doing.

Overall Jose usually does very good work, is an extremely good guy, and he usually quotes fair prices for the Bay Area. Furthermore, in my experience the last couple years, most of the time Jose says he will do something, he does it, which can frequently not be the case w/ other handymen and contractors. The flakiness factor w/ Jose is generally low, whereas w/ others in SF, it can be pretty high. Therefore, as long as his pricing continues to be reasonable, I would use Jose again in the future and definitely recommend him. A pleasure to work with overall.

Yale has done an amazing job. For me, he is an example of what a handyman should be -- superb quality of work, reliability and responsiveness, honesty and transparency, great communication, but most of all something that I have hardly ever seen before, especially in this industry -- an honor and sense of ownership in everything he does. I was truly impressed. You can *trust* Yale. If he says he can do something, he can -- and he will do that even better. If you ever need a handyman, your search is over.

Tim was punctual, a clear communicator, had a great ideas for solving our little problems (a few of which past handymen hadn't been able to do) and charged fairly. I definitely felt like we were in good hands.

Comfort Home Improvement came promptly and identity the problem with my kitchen sink. He fixed my kitchen sink and shower water pressure issues too. I definitely will hire again in the future.

They cleaned our gutter,solor panals,removed leaf's I would definitely recommend to others very nice people.They were very efficient. Thank you gutter girls my husband was so happy.

I have hired Real Handy Handymen on several occasions for work both at my business and home. I find them an extremely knowledgeable, timely, clean, and hardworking team. Tasks they have completed for me: Interior and exterior painting (not just slapping paint on, doing the requisite prep work as well) Rebuilding of antique windows Replacement of exterior deck boards Recaulking of shower glass Installation of interior doors Complicated Installation of through the roof venting for laser cutting machine Repair and replacement of plumbing elements and water heater elements There simply hasn’t been a project that I have thrown at them that they have not been able to complete to perfection. They show up on time, work quietly and efficiently and do the highest quality work. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Marco was awesome. He worked quickly, helped us with materials, adhered to Covid protocols in the home and really transformed our kitchen and hallway. We live in an old flat which means layers of paint- tough to navigate. Marco did a great job of sanding things down and making it look like new. I would (and will) definitely hire Marco again!

Louie was great! He has worked on my property several times and has done numerous numbers of different jobs for my home and business. Very trustworthy, and honest about all possible options for my job(s) paid half upfront and half of the money after the job was completed. I appreciated having a print out estimate before each job was started. Was extremely happy to have used universal maintenance & repair for my house, landscaping painting and fencing. I have used this company for other odd jobs but these were the larger jobs I needed help with.. will use again & again

I needed handyman work done around my home so I contacted four Angie's List handymen for prospective bids. Two I rejected immediately based on their hourly rates. Of the two I asked to submit bids, only Cliff of Cliffhangers actually took the time to come by to look at what I wanted done before submitting his bid. Based both on his personal visit and the fact that his price was the best, I chose Cliff to complete my projects. Cliff completed all of my projects quickly and well. I was quite pleased. I would enthusiastically recommend Cliffhangers to anyone.
