Barry's Paving and SealcoatingBarry provided an estimate for the work including adding extra drainage. We coordinated on when to have the driveway work done as we were having other work done around the property. Barry and the crew arrived ontime and quickly demolished the existing driveway and prepared the area for the new driveway. The new driveway was wider and installed within the day. The driveway and drainage has held up after all the rain we've had this July. Barry has done a lot of work in our area and the quality of the jobs looks to hold up.- David D.

Metro PavingMetro Paving was the best decision I made when choosing who would enlarge and replace my driveway. The entire crew was amazing, led by Don, the owner. He was like a magician in the bobcat. It was amazing to watch him take an old and huge tree stump out of the ground. He must have spent at least an additional 30-45 minutes to get it out of the ground. Most contractors would have paved over it, but not Don. The driveway looks and functions amazing. We had torrential rain two weeks after the new driveway was installed and the rain ran off the driveway perfectly! It was a pleasure working with Metro Paving and I would highly recommend them to my friends and family. The price was very fair.- Glenn D.

We hired Asphalt Engineering to install a driveway this past summer to replace our gravel and deteriorated bituminous concrete driveway with new bit conc. We sought proposals from two contractors. Although their prices were within a few hundred dollars of each other’s, Asphalt Engineering’s proposal was far superior. It was a multi-page document that included photos, sketches, details, dimensions, and a cost estimate. The other contractor submitted a two-paragraph proposal. Asphalt Engineering arrived as scheduled to remove the existing driveway, grade, and install a gravel base sloped for proper drainage. A week later they returned, as scheduled, to install the binder and finish coats. Their work was excellent. The driveway now drains as it should. I highly recommend Asphalt Engineering. If I had another driveway, I’d hire them again. You should too!

We needed to replace a the brick stairway at the front entrance of our house. We wanted to replace it with some sort of stone rather than sticking with brick. Commonwealth did a great job from start to finish. This began with a long conversation about our stone and material choices for the new stairs. Sean from Commonwealth was very knowledgeable and experienced, and this helped us have confidence that we were going to end up with a good design. The work was done quickly and without incident. The work was completed on schedule, and the stairs turned out beautifully. We would definitely use Commonwealth Masonry for future jobs, and would recommend them to others.
