Hutton Painting & RemodelingWork is excellent! Don Hutton and his staff were consistently professional and friendly. The price was high but was well worth the quality of work performed. The foreman Justin Oliver and his coworker Jamie were amazing! They were consistenly punctual, professional, competent and most pleasant. Justin took time to offer good sound advice and suggestions and allowed me to make my own decisions about everything. J Francis Company LLCJ. Francis worked with us to design and build a complete basement remodel, plus two full bathrooms. They were knowledgeable about specific issues with our old home and all requirements that would need to be met to pass inspections. The paid attention to details and let us know immediately about any problems that would cause a change order (like unlevel floors, unique subflooring, plumbing issues, etc.). They're not cheap, and they use a lot of subcontractors to get the work done, but they do their best to find and hire quality people who truly care about the work they're doing. If something isn't perfect (or close to it), they fix it. If you want your project done well and efficiently, then give J. Francis a call!- Robyn B.

All Star Custom KitchensI cannot say enough good things about All Star Kitchens! Everything about our kitchen remodel experience has been a delight. Starting with our first meeting with the owner, Tom, the process progressed seamlessly. All Star Kitchens truly delivered on their promise of high quality cabinetry, superior workmanship, timely installation, courteous employees, and constant communication with the customer. We never felt like we were being left out of the loop. Tom was on the job every day and was always not more than a text or phone call away. His response time was always same-day, and most times within the hour. This was our first major renovation, and as such we were a little nervous going into it, especially after some of the home remodeling horror stories we had heard. I’m thrilled to say that our experience and final product with All Star has been far better than anything we could have expected. Lowe Painting ServicesI wish I could give 10 stars. Ray and his team did a great job. THe team is really fast and skilled. They know what they are doing. We were painting an old house to get it ready to sell. They removed ancient wall paper and painted everything. Plus Ray had really good ideas to further improve the house and I'm sure they made the house much more valuable. Ray stayed with the job even as the requirements kept creeping. He showed up weekends and holidays if necessary. He owned the work. Did a great job, was timely and responsible. You couldn't ask for better.- Eric L.

Chameleon Painters LLCGeorge and Chameleon Painting did a fantastic job! We had a big paint job to do- one bedroom, one 3rd floor space that is the length of our home, and a hallway that stretches from the 2nd floor down to the 1st floor foyer. George came out to look at the space and provide an estimate. They were back in about a month to do the work. They were a bit behind from a previous job- George warned me on day 1, and the whole job took about 1 extra day. This was no trouble for us- to be honest we were floored when he first told me they would get the whole job done in 3 days. And part of the delay was when we moved all the furniture away from the walls there was a lot more plaster patching needed then we had seen during the estimate. They got all the plaster patched and 2 coats done in 4 days- including 2 half days of work. Everyone was professional and the end of each day they cleaned up all the workspaces well. Of the estimates we got, they were one of the lower estimates but the rate seemed reasonable. And they did such high quality work. I would definitely recommend them!- Brian G.

Mario Rivera RenovationsMario was excellent to work with. He completed 2 full bathroom remodels, powder room update, installed new tile on 1st floor entryway, and even did an add-on job to build new shed doors. Project time was 3 weeks start to finish. He didn’t hesitate to meet my husband and I at Home Depot and Lowe’s to pick up some of our remodel purchases and to ensure we had the correct sizes and type of materials for the projects. Mario and his crew are very professional, knowledgeable, detailed-oriented, on-time, and worked sun-up to sun-down everyday to get the job completed within estimated timeframe. Lastly, we were so impressed with the project results that we have 2 new jobs lined up for Mario and obviously, we would highly recommend his services.- Dawn M.

I needed my first floor painted so I decided to come to Angie’s list. After a few calls to local paint contractors, PGH Paintworks was the first to call me back. Mark came to my house and was very professional. While my wife was scrolling through colors he was suggesting the colors he has used recently in remodeled homes. After getting a couple other estimates we decided to go with PGH Paintworks which was not the cheapest but time and effort he put in definitely made a impression on us. Mark showed up on time, was very neat, and was meticulous with everything he did. Great experience with PGH Paintworks A++++

Cole, Greg and his team were excellent! I cannot give them high enough marks. They were courteous, punctual, extremely tidy, careful and helpful with whatever we asked. They also did an excellent job, especially with repainting the kitchen cabinets. Care was taken to completely sand and prep the cabinets so that the new paint job makes them look completely new! They also helped with several small electrical jobs around the house. The new kitchen lighting was recommended by Cole and has made a huge difference. He replaced under cabinet lighting as well as the in ceiling lighting with efficient LED lights that are terrific. I can't recommend highly enough!
