    On 9/2/2021 while heading to the other side of the house at 4:30 AM I ended up water skiing across my kitchen; the house had taken on a lot of water from a broken utility sink water line☹. After working several hours to mitigate the damage as much as possible the Lady of the House expressed a real concern for the 8x10 Persian silk rug, we got in the Middle East several years ago. I called Stanley Steemers and the gentleman advised that if I could get the rug to their facility on Crescent Park Drive in Riverview that according to Sam at the center, I would be taken care of. After working on the problem for another four hours I finally got assistance in loading up the rug and off to Riverview I went. Upon arrival I met Mr. Steve Little/Quality Supervisor who upon hearing of my issue advised me to pull around to the side and then he came out as provided physical assistance to this 70-year-old and we got the rug into his facility. Mr. Little worked up the paperwork, gave me my copy and asked did I want to pick it up when it was ready, or have it delivered – I requested the delivery to which he replied, “No problem!” From the receptionist that I first met when entering the facility to the other employees I encountered, all of them had friendly greetings and yet there was a very professional air about what they were doing. Mr. Little was extremely helpful, very friendly, and yet carried himself in a very professional manner and the most important item of the day – they all made the Lady of the House happy which made my existence even better. Being that I have OCD, Erica was kind enough to take pictures of everything before they moved all of the furniture.     I've used Paul, the owner of Surface Experts, in the past to clean my area rugs, which he restored to new condition and desperately needed his help to remove urine from car upholstery left by a disabled person. I thought the seat was going to be ruined but Paul assured me that he could remove the urine and clean the seat and was willing to come out the same day, even though it was the weekend because he didn't want it to set in the fabric. He's like a miracle worker! Since he was here, I had him clean the entire interior upholstery and being such a conscientious person he cleaned and detailed the entire interior, doors, trim, console, dashboard- everything! When he was done my car looked and smelled brand new again! And that was not an easy task because when he began the seat wreaked strongly of urine. Paul stands behind every job, no matter how difficult, and said that if any residual smell remains to call him and he'd re-treat the seat for free. Some companies might say they are experts but Paul with Surface Experts truly is both an expert and miracle worker. He's also an all-around great human being who genuinely cares about people and isn't in the business to rip anyone off or charge for unnecessary services. I've used him twice before to clean area rugs, which he also restored to new after a pet accident, and will be using him exclusively from this point forward. If you have a tough job, call Paul at Surface Experts, you will not be disappointed. He will restore your furniture, carpets, car to new.     This is the 2nd BIG project that JDS has done for me. The first was several years ago remodeling a condo that came out way better than I could have imagined and for quite a decent price (few thousand lower than others). I just sold that condo a few months ago. When I purchased another one, I didn't even bother to call anyone else. I knew his work and work ethic. I knew he was skilled in everything I needed done. Not gonna lie, the job started off a little rocky, but he told me at the beginning he was fitting me in between jobs. And with it being right smack in the middle of busy season and EVERYONE wanting construction/remodeling done, I totally got that. I made the decision to accept his bid and go forward with the project. As the job moved along, of course I came up with more things I wanted changed and I have to say, his ideas and visions for these were phenominal. This is where his 30+ years in this business comes in handy. He. Knows. What. He's. Doing. Jovan is a no 'bs' kinda guy. He is also a perfectionist (sometimes to his own detriment) and an honest guy. When you talk with him, you know right a way that this is a man that loves what he does for a living. I don't know about you, but if I have someone working in my home, I'd want them to be highly skilled, honest, and a perfectionist. He is all of these and more. He hasn't seen the last of me yet. I have more project swimming around my head for him to do. Sorry Jovan.     As an owner of multiple customer-centric businesses, I do my best to avoid leaving bad reviews. In this case I gave the owner, Roger multiple opportunities to make things right, in which he did not. I had Roger and his company carpet clean a whole house for me. He changed the agreed upon price on me right in the beginning saying it was a bigger job then expected, although this was off-putting I agreed on the higher price. I also gave Roger a 10% tip before he started the job to help a fellow business owner and also to ensure a good job. I visited the house the next day after the carpet was dry and noticed there were various yellow/orange SPOTS. I immediately asked Roger what these spots were and he went into full DEFENSE mode mentioning he has the best equipment and that those are PERMANENT stains and there's nothing he can do about it. Very poor customer service and making sure me, the customer, was happy. After researching these spots I found that these spots can happen with carpet cleaning and it is called "wicking" I was able to get these wicking spots removed at my cost. Its funny because he said they were PERMANENT STAINS which at the end of it, he just told me this so he didn't have to come back to fix and make his customer happy, this saddens me greatly
