After closing on my house in February, a circuit breaker broke, which halted my contractors work.
I called Long Electric Company to help and the owner, Clay, came out as swiftly as possible, since his team was already on other jobs, and fixed the breaker. He made it so my contractors down time was minimal, which was a HUGE help to me.
This experience prompted me to hire Long Electric for some significant upgrades to the electrical work at my house including a new circuit breaker box, surround sound entertainment wiring, installing ceiling fans, and several other electrical issues identified during my home inspection. Jesse and Cliff completed the work in March and did a great job.
They were professional, friendly and did quality work.
They were at my house for a few days given the amount of work and Clay checked in periodically to ensure things were going well. He was professional and courteous each time I interacted with him.
In May, I asked Long Electric company to replace four interior lights and install a Ring doorbell (wired) and three additional security cameras around my property. Clay and Jesse took care of everything again. My new Ring security system works great!
Most recently, my treadmill and elliptical starting tripping the GFI circuit I was using. I called Clay and we discussed my options. He sent Jesse out to take care of it. Jesse had the work done in a couple of hours.
After having Clay and his team out to my house several times over the last five months, I would not hesitate to recommend Long Electric Company. I appreciate the professional, friendly and quality service. I am extremely happy with the work and feel like it was money well spent.

I researched the price for the amount of work he did for us and I felt it was competitive and fair. Eddie communicates well and answered all my questions. He also provided me with his certificate of insurance and the permit number for the work. We had the entire house rewired and itâ s all working well. He did the entire re-wiring project and I hired someone else to repair the drywall.

The project was lightning rod installation. The work was custom fitted, very responsive to the owner's requests . The contractor was very helpful with suggestions and implementation of best practices. The contractor was brave & effective at considerable elevation (45-50 feet) above ground level. The end result was aesthetically attractive and the contractor was super amiable; his crew appeared to be dedicated.
