Each month we host an educational WordPress session focused on building your WordPress website. Sometimes this session is focused on code-level development. Other times the session is focused on best practices, themes, plugins and page builders.

WordCamp Kansas City 2020
WordCamp Kansas City is our yearly conference focusing on everything WordPress.
WordCamps take place throughout the world and you can find one nearly every week of the year somewhere in the world.
WordCamps are semi-formal WordPress-centric conferences organized completely by local members of the WordPress community.
In Kansas City, we have the distinguished honor of being the only WordCamp worldwide that features a 100% local lineup of speakers – this is the goal of every WordCamp, but we’re the only one who makes it happen!
WordCamp KC 2020 will take place on April 29 & 30 at Johnson County Community College, Regnier Center.
We’re trying something new this year by having WordCamp KC on Wednesday & Thursday, rather than the weekend. Our goal is to attract more businesses who use WordPress.

What can I expect from WordPress KC?
We host multiple monthly educational Meetup sessions each month: One focused on building your website and another focused on marketing with your website. Our goal is to build a community of WordPress fanatics. So jump in!

How can I get the most value from WordPress KC?
Participate and engage with group members. Our Meetups always start with a short networking period. Arive early and meet all the group members. Offer help and ask questions. It’s always a good idea to go out for a bite and a beer with the group after the Meetup
How can I become a WordPress KC organizer?
We’re always looking for WordPress lovers to help organize the group. You can start helping by simply attending events regularly, presenting at a Meetup or volunteering to help out at Meetups. If you’ve been in the group for a while, shoot us an email for more in-depth organizer options.
