    Hi,

I believe most of us would like to have a complete control over the WP website – design and content. I have found SiteOrigin plugin which allows me to perfectly manipulate content and design in the way I wish. Especially when I choose “Full-Width page” in theme settings.

Now the thing is that I do not like how the headers and footers looks in the most of the themes. For example there is a theme I like, but in header I can not set that the menu would be in the center – it can be set only in the right or left. And I do not like how the footer looks as well.

So how can I design or re-design it? I am not good in coding as You can guess.

Is there any plugin available to manipulate the header/footer the same way we manipulate content using SiteOrigin plugin?

  • Hi @lgzacro

Greg from SiteOrigin here – I was actually just chatting to Vlad from aThemes about this yesterday. He suggested we add this feature to SiteOrigin Page Builder. I’ll be planning it out and adding it in the next update.

It’ll require that a theme supports the feature, but we’ll be sure to maintain a list of themes that do.

Greg, it is nice to hear these news. when do You plan to release the new update?

P.S., if You could make a nearly blank (or fully editable) theme with complete drag and drop almost like it is now, it would be awesome…

For example what I need (and I believe most of us), is clean full width theme (with ability to add sidemenu and customize + design it) in which we could drag and drop everything like header (we should be able to add layouts in header and footer and be able align everything what is in it in any way we ant), menu, context, footer, etc. this would be awesome… Right now I use Teserract theme, but I will try to get with SiteOrigin Theme to see what I can do in it and if I can design it the way I want to…
