GROUNDBREAKING NEWS: The world does not revolve around me.
So yeah, decided the world def does not revolve around me, otherwise I would have posted on here a long time ago! Life has been insanely busy….election stuff….flying everywhere to visit with clients and help….back to GA to help with Saxby and such…more WTC stuff….family….brother getting married…more work…almost freezing to death multiple times…
Yeah, how’s that for an update? Mother would especially be proud of my impeccable writing. π
Oh! Be impressed….the other day I FINALLY unpacked the LAST box from my move. Everything still isn’t perfect, but its a ton better. People can’t totally laugh when they see my place — except, yeah, they can still laugh at my, um, bright tiffany blueish looking wall! π
Anyhow, since everyone mocks me for this very pink blog that never gets updated, I thought I’d write one. Now I can go back to drinking my coffee, enjoying my fire, and responding to emails.

Beautiful but cold…
Finally made it to Atlanta…at 7pm instead of 2pm. Sorta my fault since I missed/skipped my flight. Now in GA and the weather is just beautiful…except I’m in the back seat of MY car (brother is driving with his six-foot friend in passenger seat) with the top down! The wind is chilly enough to almost kill me!!! π¦ Front seat would be warmer but I was told that I was not allowed to drive MY car or sit in front cause I was small enough to be fine in the back! Sympathy is wanted.
Off to campaign in the morning!! Wooohooo!

Dear Cold Weather
This weather is simply unacceptable. I am freezing…almost to death! Please, please go away and never come again. You are not welcome as you’re making my life beyond miserable. I dread stepping outside and facing you.

JINX!
I don’t know if I buy this, but my friend says that if two people say/type the same thing at the same time thenΒ whoever calls “jinx” first owes the other person a drink. Only problem is this person also happens to think they’re Keeper of the Rule Book. Even worst, they don’t know how to add numbers or remember things. Which means, they constantly think I’m way behind or simply create some random jinx situation. Def not cool. BUT for the record its 10-8, me losing. HOWEVER, I WILL win, thank you very much!!

So yeah, I definitely have not updated this blog in FOREVER. Traveling all the time just — well, I get busy! Maybe once this Election is over I’ll start updating more often. I can’t believe THE DAY is only a week away!!! Insane. I just want it here…and over with.

Ummmm….all this “John” nonsense in referring to Sen. McCain from Sen. Obama is nonsense. What is he trying to say?! It comes across rude and just plain awkward!! Seriously, Sen. Obama, have some respect! Or is that a foreign word to you?!
I’m proud of McCain in these debates! The thought of my brothers going overseas with Sen. Obama as Commander-in-Chief is downright terrifying!!!!

Should be interesting to see how much support the site gets. Definitely a good idea! We need REFORM!!

Sleepy but not tired…
Its kind of silly to still be up at 3a.m. But lately, I just can’t sleep. I start thinking — and then I get up and start working! Its great for getting things done, though, except when I reach that point where I can’t really think. Such as now. Since none of my friends are up and online, I’m stuck with talking to my blog.
I just got caught up on all my emails! So maybe I’ll go read for a bit and then, hopefully, fall asleep. Just gotta get work off my mind or I’ll never sleep!!
I actually am starting to feel very energized. I almost want to go running — tempted to but that may not be the smartest idea I’ve ever had! (I think I heard once that most criminal behavior happens around 4 or 5a.m.)
Think the book is calling my name…

Miss you, Micah
So this is a shout-out to the coolest 18-year-old brother in the world!!
Micah was absolutely phenomenal last week. Seriously.
When I suddenly moved to DC he was still in boot camp for the GA National Guard. He promised to come visit me soon after his graduation since we haven’t really seen each other the last 7 months. I was all excited — he was too!
UNTIL…The night before he’s flying to stay with me, I inform him that I actually just moved and that since I’ve been traveling so much I haven’t actually stepped foot in the apt since the day THREE WEEKS BEFORE when I dumped everything on the floor. I also had to tell him that there was actually NO furniture in the apartment (as of this post I’m still waiting on the moving company to deliver!!).
Poor kid. He was a good sport. Slept on the floor the whole time because he wouldn’t take my air mattress. Used an internet connection that went in and out all the time. Sat in the apt while I was off at meetings. Went paint shopping with me — and then proceeded to start painting my apt while I was off in Michigan for a wedding. AND he even organize some of the chaotic mess of boxes all over the place.
Oh, and lets not forget the time he ventured out of my apt while I was gone that weekend — and then got lost for an hour and couldn’t find my place, and I, of course, had my phone on silent and was unreachable.
Micah stayed with me for 9 days before deciding it was time to head back to civilization and proper meals! I was sad to see him leave. I don’t know what I would have done without him. He was the best!!
Mic, thanks for being with me and helping me and shaking your head/laughing at me!! It would have been some depressing first days in this apt without you! I think I’m sort of indebted to you for life! I love you!!!
Now I’m waiting for the next brother to visit! π

Be jealous!
On Saturday I completely fell in love with the area in which I now live. Its just so cute around here and the little market they have on the weekends absolutely rocks!
My one purchase (be proud of my self-control!!) was a set of dinnerware. Got it at a stealer price!Β My friend bartered the guy down in price for me. And the set is just — well, perfect. Sort of modern, yet still girly.Β And yes, there’s pink on it — pink cherry blossoms! π
It makes me happy!
