Dave O'Brien is a DFW treasure. He has 50 years worth of experience as a builder and now lends that expertise in home remodeling and design. Beyond simply producing a set of architectual drawings describing what needed to be done, he saved me over $30,000 by suggesting smarter, more unified ways to approach the challenges associated with upgrading my old house. He is patient, stays in close contact throughout the process, and - in my case - made more than one special trip across town to meet with contractors to make sure that the initial piece of the project would be done properly. He left me with several different working versions of the floor plan to continue the planning process. I strongly suggest that anyone looking for help navigating the challenges of a major remodeling project consider speaking to Dave before deciding on a course of action.

If your looking for an architect, just stop here. This was my first time ever hiring an architect and the experience has been educational, professional, and most importantly secured. He went to bat for my business and hit a home run. Very informative, gave updates on the work being done. He went above and beyond with what he has to do as he helped me locate several contractors. I reviewed Dan once already, but then our project took a long hiatus (for reasons beyond the control of Dan). We asked him to basically design 3 different houses for us, and Dan and his team just kept churning out designs. Dan and the team are awesome, professional, and responsive. Definitely, recommend.
