We just activated UpdraftPlus and it works like a charm (after numerous tries and tweaks). Thank you so much for all the effort you guys put into it.

One thing: We understand that both SiteGround and UpdraftPlus are partners. And since we use SiteGround as well, we would like to know if you can provide guidance material on restoring backups into SiteGround using your plugin. We have searched everywhere (blogs, forums, wordpress) and have found nothing useful.

Specifically, we would appreciate your help with the following questions:

(1) Have you or your clients (free or premium) had any significant issues with restoring backups into SiteGround? Any synchronization issues we need to be aware of? Kindly share your experience.

(2) If we click “Restore” from backup, does your plugin completely replace and delete the existing files in our SiteGround directory, or, does it simply relocate them into a new folder in our main directory?

(3) Does UpdraftPlus check for malware in the back-end before it generates a backup or restores one? If not, why? [Note: BackupBuddy does this]

(4) Any other tips or pointers as they relate to SiteGround? How about writing a comprehensive blog about this topic?
