California's 51st State Assembly district is one of 80 California State Assembly districts. It is currently represented by Democrat Wendy Carrillo of Boyle Heights.

District profile[edit]

The district encompasses northeastern Los Angeles, including parts of the Eastside, along with neighboring East Los Angeles. The district is primarily urban and heavily Latino.
