Engineering
Backend Engineer
As an engineer on the Server Team at Brilliant, you'll work closely with the other engineers on the team, the product manager, and the designer across our full server stack to solve problems and build new features. Your projects will span building new GraphQL and RESTful APIs for our Python services, supporting communication with our fleet of Brilliant Controls, extending our gRPC backends and their interactions with Redis and PostgreSQL, and expanding and maintaining our AWS infrastructure. In addition to your primary focus on our server stack, you may occasionally dabble in working on the Brilliant Control from our Qt UI to the Python running on every Control.
Firmware Engineer
As an embedded software engineer at Brilliant, you'll work closely with other engineers and product managers to define, design, and build features for existing and future Brilliant hardware products. Previous experience with firmware development is required and support will be given to develop mastery working with our existing and future SOCs.
Full Stack Engineer
As a Full Stack Engineer at Brilliant, you’ll design and develop software for our Brilliant suite of smart home products. The work will span our front end UI to backend embedded software, including our third-party integration platform and server infrastructure. Our engineering team’s mission is to build a culture and environment of engineers that can tackle a multitude of problems in any area of our codebase. In this role, you will be working on a small, fast moving team on a sophisticated, modern software stack.
Integrations Team Engineer
As an engineer on the Integrations Team at Brilliant, you'll work closely with the other engineers on the team, the product manager, and the designer across our full stack to solve problems and build new features. You will also have to collaborate with engineering and product management counterparts working on the products Brilliant integrates with. Your projects will have an impact not only on the Brilliant user experience, but also on our partnership with other leading Smart Home companies.
Linux Platform Engineer
As a Linux Platform Engineer at Brilliant, you'll be responsible for shipping a stable and secure software core to power the Brilliant Control. You'll work closely with both the hardware and software teams in bringing up new board designs, qualifying new parts, and laying a solid foundation on which to build our application software.
Mobile Engineer
As a Mobile Engineer at Brilliant, you will work across both of our existing iOS and Android applications, building out the functionality and UI that form a key pillar of Brilliant’s vision of a unified smart home. Previous experience on both platforms is not required. Support will be provided to develop multiple platform proficiency.

Smart Home Builder Account Manager
The ideal Account Manager will act as a point of contact for new/existing builder clients as well as a point of coordination for the Brilliant Sales Team. They will build and maintain long-lasting relationships with their clients to ensure customer satisfaction and success. The Account Manager will also aid internal departments by collecting information to drive reporting, as well as executing client trials of Brilliant Technologies.

The ideal Inside Sales Lead will have previous team leadership experience, be motivated, data driven and well spoken. To succeed in this position, the candidates should have exceptional communication, computer, time management, and problem-solving skills.
