When you change your billing cycle's duration, your GitHub subscription, along with any other paid features and products, will be moved to your new billing cycle on your next billing date.
Changing the duration of your personal account's billing cycle
- In the upper-right corner of any page, click your profile photo, then click Settings.
- In your user settings sidebar, click Billing & plans.
- Under "Current monthly bill" or "Current yearly bill", click Switch to yearly billing or Switch to monthly billing.
- Review your new payment details, then click Change plan duration.
Changing the duration of your organization's billing cycle
Only organization members with the owner or billing manager role can access or change billing settings for your organization.
Changing the duration of a per-user subscription
- In the upper-right corner of any page, click your profile photo, then click Settings.
- In the settings sidebar, click Organizations.
- Next to the organization, click Settings.
- If you're an organization owner, in the left sidebar, click Billing & plans.
- Under "Current monthly bill" or "Current yearly bill", click Switch to yearly billing or Switch to monthly billing.
- Review your new payment details, then click Change plan duration.
Changing the duration of a legacy per-repository plan
- In the upper-right corner of any page, click your profile photo, then click Settings.
- In the settings sidebar, click Organizations.
- Next to the organization, click Settings.
- If you're an organization owner, in the left sidebar, click Billing & plans.
- Under "Billing overview", click Change plan.
- At the top right corner, click Switch to monthly billing or Switch to yearly billing.
