We had a very challenging yard with a huge slope and unusable space. We received estimates from multiple companies, but as soon as Shannon came out and gave his opinion, I knew we were going to use Scenic South. Shannon and his team were professional from the jump; he kept me informed throughout the process around timing and costs, and always showed up when he said he would. The quality of work he and his team did is amazing. They transformed our yard from unusable space into a huge, beautiful yard that our family will enjoy for years to come. He came to my house the same day I contacted him. We negotiated a price for grinding three stumps, and he did the work in less than an hour. And he put the grindings where I asked him to put them. Couldn't ask for more.

Xavier and his team were outstanding to work with from bidding the job, which was very fairly priced, to the completion of the job. We had them build a retaining wall, a stone path to the top of our hill, landscape the entire hill and sides of our house, and install a drainage ditch. They worked 14 hrs the first day and 12 the next, which happened to be on Fathers day weekend. We are very grateful to have had the pleasure to deal with Xavier and his team. The project exceeded our expectations! We will definitely use them again on future projects.

I contacted Erin after he was recommended by a neighbor. He came out first thing the next morning to take a look at a tree that was damaging my deck and had grown to rest on my roof. He gave me a very good quote and came out the following day to remove the tree. I am sure he put me ahead of some other clients because he knew the situation needed to be remedied ASAP. Did not realize how bad my property was looking. Active Tree Service literally gave me a whole new outlook. I am motivated to have the best house on the block. They were the first to call and I did not confirm until late in the evening. They answered the phone!!!! I was so elated to talk to a real person and not a machine. They showed up just like they promised. They were timely and extremely professional. They brought the bucket truck and took care of business. I will definitely call them back again. They helped us design a new landscape plan in order to sell our home, their beautiful design and installation enabled us to sell our house very quickly. They removed all of the old shrubs and planted new trees, shrubs, and flower beds. We were extremely satisfied with the experience.

Our project involved a collapsed culvert that completely blocked access to our property - hence our sense of urgency. Brodie and team were very responsive to our request, and quickly developed a workable plan where other contractors could not. Complicating factors for this project included hard-to-find equipment and materials due to recent storms, no cell service at our location, and live exposed electrical and telecommunication utilities in the direct path of needed excavation. The project was completed to our satisfaction, including some nice detail work involving re-installation of our gate, removal of dead trees, re-crowning our road for better water run-off, and spreading grass seed to prevent erosion afterwards. Nice job!
