It was a pleasure hiring Mr. Estevez to remove a small partition wall separating our dining room from our living room. He did a great job with the removal, patching the hole on the adjoining wall, and painting over it. He was even gracious enough to paint the rest of the wall just to make sure everything matches. Hands-down best experience Iâ ve had with a contractor. I've used D&A twice now â the first time to repair the concrete steps leading up to my front door, the second time to install a backyard patio. For the first project, D&A was the only company willing to come out for a small job (Iâ d called like ten beforehand whoâ d all said no). I'd had old, rusty railings removed and new ones installed, there were holes and cracks in the concrete where the old rails had come loose, and the steps were badly rust-stained. D&A repaired them, power-washed them, scraped away all the hardened piles of concrete patcher the previous owner had left behind, and left them looking brand-new. I had them back nine months later to install my patio and itâ s gorgeous. We talked through all the options within my budget, and in the end I opted for a rectangular concrete patio with pea gravel finish, curved brick border, and brick diamond center. D&A also repaired and power-washed the concrete stoop and brick steps that lead from my back door down to my new patio so that they look new too. AND, because they finished ahead of schedule, they even installed a little wooden door with a latch for me, to cover the opening to my stoop (so that now I can store my lawnmower and other tools underneath the stoop, out of sight)! I couldnâ t be happier with the final result both times â definitely exceeded expectations, and for a very fair price.

We hired Tuck to widen our driveway, tear out the old sidewalk and install a decorative stone walkway in front and pour a concrete sidewalk around the side of the house to the back door. We found him to be a man of integrity, someone we could trust to follow through and do quality work. It was Tuck's design, not ours, that created the beautiful walkway. His crew is obviously experienced and it was amazing to watch them work so efficiently and with such skill. The masons who brought Tuck's design to life are also very talented and skilled at what they do. Tuck remained on sight through the completion of the pour and followed up regularly while the masons layed the stone. He also followed up a few weeks after completion to make sure everything was to our satisfaction.

A great company to work with! They took care of getting permits, or ordering materials, and building our deck. The subgrade crawl space and exterior cinder block foundation wall of our 65-year old house was deteriorating to the point where it was structurally unsound. This area contains our hot water heater, whole house water filter, sump pump, and water, sewer, HVAC, and dryer lines and pipes. An independent structural engineer inspected and prepared a detailed remediation recommendation. Over a 6-week period, despite harsh winter weather, BTL Homes did a complete rebuild of the exterior wall, installed ceiling supports and a new sump pump, rebuilt the steps into the space, and waterproofed and installed exterior drains. We were able to stay in our home during this project. They did an excellent job remediating the cellar and responded to our requests for additional clean-up to the surrounding area that had been disturbed by the excavation and construction. We can certainly recommend BTL Homes for this type of work, as their process is fair and well managed.

I was thoroughly pleased with the fine quality of work provided by The Basement Pros in leveling my sidewalk. The work was done by the owner himself, Peter Garvin, and Alexis, one of his experienced workers. I am completely satisfied with every aspect of the work done by Peter and Alexis. They arrived on time after giving me a call and spent over 90 minutes on the job. They answered any questions I asked and graciously explained the poly foam method used to level the sidewalk. They took their time injecting the poly foam, insuring it was done in the most efficient manor. They made sure not to rush the injection of the poly, examining the progress of the leveling many times throughout the job. I was very impressed with the teamwork of Peter and Alexis during the process. They consulted and advised each other as the work progressed. I found them both to be very professional and personable. The same can be said of Yana in the office. I have every confidence in quality of work done for me. They were very respectful of my property, cleaning up everything as they finished. They also asked if I had any questions or concerns about the job when they finished. Obviously I did not. I truly feel that I could not have had a better experience than I did with The Basement Pros. It is certainly gratifying to have an outstanding company do an outstanding job for me. I give them my very highest recommendation without any reservations.
