  In order to give a proper review, you need to understand what we asked of Don Vith of Vith Contracting: 1) build a 1,240 sq/ft 2nd story addition on top of a 60 year-old ranch. The addition consisted of 1 Mast BR w/ Master Bath, 2 BR, an add'l full bathroom and a utility closet, 2) Dining room remodel, and 3) Sunroom addition. I can count on three fingers the number of times my wife and I agreed on something w/o days, weeks, months...and even years of debate. Those were getting married, having kids, and choosing Don to turn our house into our "forever" home. Here's why we chose Don: 1.) Safety and Convenience: Don's #1 concern throughout the project was the well-being of my family and his crew. Don's plan allowed for us to continue to live in the house during construction w/ minimal disruption or inconvenience (reread the first paragraph what we asked of Don to put this in perspective.) Two weeks after the project kicked off, COVID shut down the world. Months later when the shelter-in-place mandate was lifted, Don and his guys got back to work. Don followed CDC recommendations to reduce the risk of virus transmission throughout the entire 16 month project. Oh, plus we are clean freaks and not once did we have to bust out the vacuum because of the construction. I know that may be hard to believe, but Don would create air tight ceiling to floor 2x4 and poly walls w/o marking up your floor or ceiling. 2) Confidence and accountability: Don was onsite EVERY single day of the project. If something wasn't done to his own satisfaction, he had his crew re-do it no matter how small of a detail. To put it in perspective, one of my neighbors overheard Don instructing his crew to do something with such detail he told me "If I didn't know that was your house, you'd think it was Don's." 3) Ownership: One could mistake Don's straight-to-the-point, no b.s. approach to business intimidating. Well, if you prefer a contractor who will tell you what you want to hear, take little or no pride in his work, then Don is certainly not your guy. Don takes pride in his work. He has decades of exceptional quality work under his tool belt. Trust me. I did my homework. 4) Cost: A wise man once said "You get what you pay for." Don wasn't the cheapest, nor was he the most expensive. Like any project, we did incur some unexpected expenses, but Don managed our expectations from the start. Once you start tearing into existing structure, you'll come across a nasty surprise or two. 5) Time: I have no time to deal with b.s. Don shielded and protected us from the politics of obtaining permits and the ridiculous, absolutely unnecessary extra expense an ego tripping local code enforcer tried to pull. (There is no local, county or state code requiring the need to tear apart the ceiling of an existing structure to install wired smoke detectors. And the sun-bleached numbers on our curb-side mailbox have nothing to do with our addition. But the code enforcement officer TRIED but failed to hold up on signing off on our inspection because Don knows Code. Don also held every subcontractor to the same quality of work Vith Contracting provides. If they failed, Don escorted them off the property. He kept all the trades in line. I can't begin to express how much that meant to me, being the control freak that I am. One day I overheard Don tactfully scolding a subcontractor for sub-par work. "Would you do that kind of work at your own house?" The sub didn't respond. He got Don's point. I could go on and on about our no-less than positive experience with Vith Contracting. However, there are not enough hours in the day. Plus Don is coming by today to check up on things. Yeah he does that too.   Service was top notch. Danny came kept on schedule and worked swiftly to build a 684 sq ft addition that was well built and up to code. He takes pride in the workmanship done and also is very detail oriented and compassionate on what I as the customer wanted. I would highly recommend Danny to anyone looking to build a deck , porch or an addition. I enjoyed my experience with Danny and this Five star company. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐

  All of the work was done to perfection. Chernega construction took our ideas on the remodel and worked with us to make them even better than we had imagined. They built out a home office, designed a beautiful floor to ceiling fire place, opened the kitchen to the family room, and added can lighting throughout the home. The staff was prompt and professional and came with a ton of experience. We Will go with Chernega construction for any future needs and highly recommend their services

  I just want to thank Rick Criscella and his crew for a job well done. They are competent, courteous, particular with detail and interactive with me the owner. Rick actually answers his phone and I called a lot! He did all the work in the contract time frame no matter how many change orders I did. His foreman Dave, was there every day along with his crew. They were courteous to the neighbors too. I just sold the house (it is a 4 apartment house) and my realtor said this was his first time an inspector said the building and workmanship was awesome! It was the same with the appraiser. That is huge praise. I would recommend him to anyone. 5 stars

  We worked with Eliot and Karen of EcoCraft Homes on the preconstruction of our eco-friendly dream home. Both were focused, knowledgeable, and organized. They knew a lot, and when they didn't, they reached out to someone who did. We had worked with a well-reviewed local architect previously, and spent twice as much money for a small fraction of the work EcoCraft was able to do for us with ease and on a much more reasonable budget. While the architect always had aesthetics in mind, they never seemed to have our personal aesthetics or our bottom line in mind. I found the team at EcoCraft to be incredibly respectful of our financial limitations, and to be transparent with costs from start to finish. The preconstruction on our very challenging property included multiple meetings with the City, lots of paperwork, and what could have been real headaches. EcoCraft made this part of the project a complete breeze. Lastly, they use SIPs construction, which means your eco-friendly dream house will go up much more quickly than with many other building methods. Highly recommend them

  From first meeting to last day of work it was a pleasure to work with Joe and his crew. I did alot of research before our meeting so when I met with Joe, I was aware (and impressed) of how knowledgeable he was about plants, flowers and landscape design. His communication with us was excellent, always returning emails or calls within a day or two. Combine this with his professionalism instilled the confidence we needed. He provided us with template of the design well in advance making changes easy to make. Joe listened to our ideas and helped us create our vision. Two landscapers I met with before Joe, were not responsive to any input and told me to just trust them! These same landscapers use the same design, shrubs and plants on every house in our neighborhood regardless of its architecture. We wanted a unique design that fit the look of our house and Joe was the one that delivered it. In the future will be using Zingrone Landscaping exclusively. We are extremely happy with the job! He delivered on everything that he promised

  Brad was the best contractor we have ever worked with. We have renovated every aspect of our home inside and out including converting a garage into a fully renovated basement and 1000 sq ft addition. He understood our vision and helped it come to fruition. He continually went above and beyond as exemplified by accompanying us to a zoning hearing and rebuilding an attached retaining wall because the color just did not turn out the way I thought it would. He continually allowed me to edit facets of the project as they unfolded to achieve a more appealing end result. At one point, I had resigned myself that a particular product was the best we could do based on product availability. The next thing I knew he was calling me from a different store with additional sample pictures to review. He had found exactly what I was looking for. He said "I could tell you just weren't 100% satisfied". I truly believe that our satisfaction was his number one goal. His crews were professional and very talented. The price was competitive. It was truly his level of professionalism that drew us to him in the first place

  Clarke was fantastic from start to finish. He kept in communication and gave me a very fair price. Brandon showed up a day early and he was able to fix my chimney after a job gone bad. He made it look better than I could have hoped for. It was very clear that he took pride in his workmanship and kept my house and yard clean throughout. He also patched up some areas around my house. I highly recommend hiring this company
