  Petra is absolutely amazing! My husband and I were first time homebuyers in a crazy market and Petra was by our side every step of the way. Her knowledge and professionalism is superb. Beyond that, she was an amazing advocate who went to bat for us over and over again. Whenever we had a questions or concerns she would answer the phone with a detailed response, no matter our question. She was never pushy and always gave my husband and I the space to make decisions every step of the way. However, when we needed her expertise and experience she always gave a straightforward answer that included the pros and cons of each option. She never hides and ball and can explain the second and third order effects of a decision with clarity. Petra's work ethic, enthusiasm for her job, and expertise is truly special. In short, Petra is the person you want in your corner when making a big decision like a home purchase. We absolutely loved working with her!

  I started off with another realtor but felt ignored so I found Bernice - and I'm glad I switched. It was day and night difference! She was very hands on, which I needed because my house was a "work in progress." She helped me make decisions for paint, which upgrades would get me the most bang for my buck, and also helped identify some potential problem areas. She also has a great in house staging service that really brought the house to life and made it look like a home. The end product looked amazing. I was impressed by the quality of the photos and marketing. She even did a Zillow walk through tour, which is so important these days. Because of her, we were able to aim for a higher price point than I originally thought. We had so much interest and offers right away. The process wasn't easy and our first contract fell through but we regrouped and were able to get another great offer. Bernice and her team kept me up to date - this was not always easy as I am in the military and was on the field or traveling for most of the transaction. You really need someone you can trust and who will keep you updated and stay calm. Bernice and the Happy New Beginnings team is your one stop shop. It was a pleasure working with her and her team. Highly recommended!

  Call Petra if you need an expert on your side! We cannot say enough about Petra. We were/are truly fortunate that we had/have Petra on our side. We contacted Petra Richardson with Home Team of America to help sell our home at the suggestion of a friend. It turns out that was the best advice and decision made. In just the few minutes into our meeting, we realized we were talking to a top-notch real estate agent. Upon further visiting with her she had a solid plan to sell our home. Petra took the time to thoroughly explain to us the selling process and made us feel at ease knowing that she would be there for us at every step. Petra provided guidance and suggestions on the best way to prepare the house for sale - which items to concentrate on and which ones we shouldn’t. She saved us plenty of time and money from the get go. While we were preparing the house, she was still hard at work setting things in motion. Once we the house was ready it was showtime and Petra went into action doing what she does best. She brought in a professional photographer for the house pictures; she thoroughly walked us through the market assessment to price it right; and promptly listed the house. She kept us informed every step of the way and we never felt like we were on our own to figure things out. No question we had was too big or too small for her. And she was always ready with an answer. Once the showings began, we had several offers the very first day! Again, Petra’s expertise and professionalism came through as she patiently explained to us the pros/cons of each offer and provided guidance to us. Ultimately the decision was ours to make but we could not have done it without the additional information she provided to us. Petra could’ve stirred us to a higher offer to make a higher commission but that is where she differs from other realtors. She undeniably puts her client’s interest ahead of hers and goes to fight for them. Petra had our back. After we accepted one of the offers and hit some snags during the appraisal. We thought the closing date was not achievable due to some of those snags and then that the deal was going to fall through. Petra quickly stepped in and worked tirelessly to successfully resolve them while still keeping our best interest in mind. She truly is the BEST of the BEST in the business. Petra surpassed ALL our expectations. Her field knowledge, open communication, honesty and true care for clients make Petra a one-of-a-kind realtor. Petra not only helped us sell our home, she also helped to find a realtor in our future home state (North Carolina). Petra interviewed that realtor, without us asking her, to ensure that we had someone of her caliber working for us in that state. Petra also helped us to find a lender that saved us thousands of dollars in closing costs.
