Adding GitHub App managers in your organization

Organization owners can grant users the ability to manage some or all GitHub Apps owned by the organization.

Giving someone the ability to manage all GitHub Apps owned by the organization

  1. In the top right corner of GitHub, click your profile photo, then click Your organizations. Your organizations in the profile menu
  2. Next to the organization, click Settings. The settings button
  3. In the left sidebar, click GitHub Apps. GitHub Apps settings
  4. Under "Management", type the username of the person you want to designate as a GitHub App manager in the organization, and click Grant. Add a GitHub App manager

Giving someone the ability to manage an individual GitHub App

  1. In the top right corner of GitHub, click your profile photo, then click Your organizations. Your organizations in the profile menu
  2. Next to the organization, click Settings. The settings button
  3. In the left sidebar, click GitHub Apps. GitHub Apps settings
  4. Under "GitHub Apps", click on the avatar of the app you'd like to add a GitHub App manager for. Select GitHub App
  5. In the left sidebar, click App managers. App managers sidebar button
  6. Under "App managers", type the username of the person you want to designate as a GitHub App manager for the app, and click Grant. Add a GitHub App manager for a specific app
