"I contacted Finest Chimney Sweep to inspect and clean my fireplace/chimney, Jaime arrived at the scheduled time to perform the cleaning and inspection. Very polite and professional. Jaime explained every step of the process and what he found in the inspection. The crew that performed the needed repairs did excellent job replacing the chimney crown, 2 cracked flue tiles, power washing the bricks and installing a new stainless steel cap. "
"The only reason I gave work quality and the overall rating 4.5 instead of 5 stars was that they did not get on the roof and inspect the top of the chimney. The last company I had did that and I think that's an important part of the inspection. However, for the price I paid and the service I did get, I am very pleased."
"Originally contacted this company to clean and inspect chimney. Later added whole house duct cleaning and dryer vent cleaning. Inspection revealed the crown of the chimney was shot (they showed me pictures). So I hired them to re-do the crown and cap. Lee and Derek were superb and their working together as a team for ten years showed. Due to my tight schedule, they came on a Saturday to do the chimney sweeping and when inspection of the chimney crown revealed significant deterioration, they returned the following Monday to do that repair and finish up the duct cleaning after first applying an anti-mildew treatment. All work was superb and thorough. The price for all of it (chimney sweeping, repair, installation of an ash guard, ducting pre-treatment and final cleaning and dryer vent cleaning) was a good value to me, particularly since none of this work had been done since the house was built 26 years ago. I would strongly recommend this company. And great kudos to Lee and Derek! They are a great asset to this company."
"Troy did a great job cleaning out my two chimney's and explaining a few things to me. Keeps your house clean and very knowledgeable about his job. Dustin was a little hard to get a hold of and slow to get my appointment schedule nailed down, but he didn't let me down. This was the first time I have had chimney's serviced, but I was hoping Troy would get on the roof and inspect the caps as part of the normal inspection. I will get up there and check that part out myself. I will call Dustin again if I need anything. They are good guys and charge fair prices. "
"Luis did a super job cleaning the chimney from the bottom up. There was only a visual inspection of the chimney cap on the roof from below. I didn’t check in advance to see if they would go on the roof and we had bad weather with some snow, so maybe they would inspect from top down as needed. Overall great customer service and friendly technician. "
"Thomas maintained good communication prior to and during the project of chimney inspection and cleaning. He was prompt and completed the work promptly and share before and after photos of the chimney including climbing onto the roof to inspect the caps. He provided recommendations for further work to possibly consider. He was very responsive and responsible."
"They came out to clean and inspect our fireplace and it looks ten times better than before! Great communication and easy to schedule and contact."
"Diagnosed the problem quickly and fixed it professionally. Very happy with them."
"Technician examined chimney and provided a quote for a chimney cap. Very reasonable pricing. "
Fireplaces can be dangerous without the right maintenance. If you use yours frequently, the flue could be clogged with buildup and soot. Your chimney might also have leaks or separation that redirects the smoke and sparks. Before you light a fire or upgrade your inserts and gas logs, get a fireplace inspection from a local expert.
Fireplace inspections give you advance notice if your fireplace is unsound or too dirty for safe usage. The NFPA, or National Fire Protection Association, recommends you get an inspection every year. A local expert can schedule an appointment with you quickly. They are also familiar with the construction styles in the region. So they can let you know if a new insert or gas log is a good fit. Most local experts don't just handle inspections. They can also:
