ASL Classes

Our ASL classes are taught by native ASL instructors who create a welcoming, inclusive and fun learning environment for individuals, parents or businesses interested in learning ASL.

We believe all people should have the opportunity to participate and contribute to their local community.

About Us

DHCC is the best place in the Philadelphia area to learn about and obtain equal communication access. We offer a variety of services to help bridge the communication gap between the Deaf, hard of hearing and hearing communities. We are honored to be the longest serving and highly respected sign language interpreting service in the region and the first organization to provide an on-call Emergency Sign Language Interpreting Service for police and hospital emergencies.

Mission

Our mission is to advocate for and promote equal communication access, educational service, cultural awareness and economic development to the Deaf, DeafBlind, and hard of hearing populations in the greater Philadelphia region and surrounding areas.

Get Involved

We’re always looking for partners in our community. If your business, organization or foundation wants to better engage the local deaf community and help make a difference, contact us. We’d love to talk more about how we can work together to make Philadelphia a more welcoming home for our deaf population.
