Why I would like to write this review is because the upper portions of our house were originally cedar shingles that had been stained over the years and maintained with linseed oil. I decided I wanted to paint it so knew it would have to be sealed well so that the paint wouldn't bubble. 2 years later had some slight blistering and in a few places the paint fell off, which I wasn't totally surprised. I call of CertPro Painters and he came out and walked all the way around the house and shed, made notes and sent a man from his crew out soon after. The contractor scrapped all the blistering, re-primed, repainted by brush, cleaned up all the flecks of paint, any drip and it looked as good as when they completed the job 2 years ago.

I was not happy with , particularly the poor job they did on the interior of my windows. While the price was good, the quality of their work was very disappointing. They had assured me that they would take the time to scrape and sand down the windows to ensure a smooth paint finish. Instead, only minimal prep work was performed. Even when I pointed out obvious areas where they had failed to scrape off peeling paint, they did not go back and fix it as they promised me they would. They left drops of paint all over my windows - again they promised they would fix it, but never did so. To top things off, they dropped a caulking gun on my new wood floors and left a noticeable gouge. If they were professionals, they would have pointed out the damage, but instead I had to discover it for myself. The home office did make it right by offering a $500 discount.
I do not recommend for any work requiring surface prep. If you want quality work done, these are not your guys. On the other hand, if you are simply looking for an inexpensive option and not concerned about quality, go ahead and give them a try.

1) Doors (red)
-Unevenly applied--
- Remove red paint from metal door parts, black weather stripping, white trim
-Blue paint still visible
-newly applied paint shows white spots (chalking?)
2) Siding (light gray) - repair damage (fill divets) caused by pressure washing, blend paint (light gray) over bare spots
-areas already treated do not blend well, still show damage due to pressure washing
3) Trim (dark grey):
Newly applied Dark Grey paint shows blotchiness (chalking?)
Some of the edges of the trim are missing light grey paint (e.g. around windows and garage trim)
Light gray paint spotted onto dark grey trim (top left of window)
Blue paint still visible --e.g. where trim meets white windows, edges of wood trim
4) Remove paint where misapplied/spilled/transferred
-- Red paint on grey siding (e.g. under 2nd top window from left)
-- Red paint on white parts of door (front and side doors), red paint on interior side of front door and metal step/entrance (front door)
--- Grey paint dropped onto front concrete sidewalk
-- White paint on glass fixture (exterior light left of front door)
--Dark grey paint found on adjacent white trim along garage door opening

We hired to help us update an expanded 50’s ranch house. His company did an excellent job on interior projects (see our “interior” review) so we took his bid on painting our house and repairing outside wood working.
He gave us a detailed listing of work to be down and continued to update the list as we added more work to the project. His invoices included copies of material costs receipts. His crew brought a new meaning to “power washing.” They did a very thorough job with great attention to detail. His carpenters rebuilt many rotted window frames and a difficult 8-sided portal window over the attic. The work was exacting and everything was sealed properly.
I had asked to demolish a 60-year-old shed in the back yard and remove the materials. After inspection he recommended repairing the shed as it was solidly constructed, and would cost more to tear down and remove than to rebuild. I was skeptical but agreed. The final painted result is now an actual property asset, we were very impressed.
The fact that is always available made a huge difference as work progressed. My wife and I had picked a color for the house from a catalog and foolishly requested it without painting test samples on the house. In bright daylight it was horrible. When I came home and saw it I immediately called who stopped work and let us pick a new color. It was our fault, but he gave us a very reasonable price for redoing 2 coats with a new color that we now love.
The crew was polite, always on time, and cleaned up everything as they worked. Their work was excellent and always kept on schedule and kept me informed on all work. I can’t think of anything that and his crew didn’t execute better than I had expected.

It went very smoothly, I especially want to say that was the only person I met who went through the trouble of figuring out what soffits would go best in our attic. Five other companies said they couldn't do it (and one was a roofer).
Good thing used to be a carpenter, because he figured it all out!

This is the 2nd time that we used and his team to paint the exterior of our house. They are very professional, punctual, and competent. The job was started and completed on time. himself was very helpful in ensuring that we had the correct trim color to go with the house color chosen. and his crew painted 6 samples on the house in order to help us select the final color. does not accept payment up front. Total payment is only due once the job is complete. I strongly recommend and his team and will use them again in the future.
