Description of Work
They replaced the breaker box, adding a main breaker and surge protector. They did such a good job, we hired them to install new recessed lighting, new wiring for remodel and adding outlets. Jim was fantastic and Wendy was very responsive. We highly recommend them.

This turned out very well. We replaced the main panel on the back of the house. We chose to do this because it was a good opportunity to upgrade from a 40 year old panel to a new one. The guy that worked on it was personable and explained why he was doing what he doing. He was courteous, respectful, and informative.

The service went great. 1-2 electricians came out and completed the job in 2 days. They were neat, kind and competent. I would definitely hire them again and I had no problem scheduling the service.

we've used cjs for many jobs. they take their time, know what they are doing and get the job done well. it's never been anything major, just routine problems with lights or fans not working properly, or some electrical installations.

This was just a service call to determine what was wrong with my fan lights but we have used cjs for the last four years. everyone is knowledgeable and courteous. the work is performed well and conscientiously.

Description of Work
They moved my dining room chandelier across the room. I was told by their man who gave the estimate that it would need a bar for a secure hold. They arrived without one and tried to talk me into putting it on the crossbeam. I told him that would not work because it wouldn't be in the center of the table. We even measured it to get the right place. I left the room and they cut the hole in the ceiling and were putting it on the beam. I couldn't believe it after all of our discussion just minutes before. He acted like he hadn't done anything wrong. It took 3 weeks before the whole thing was fixed because he had to send someone to repair the hole and rehang the light. I have been remodeling and decorating homes for over 30 years and have never had anyone so blatantly go against a customers wishes.

Work was done well and on time. Actual bill was $150 over estimate. We split the difference so I paid $75 over original estimate.

Good experience. After purchasing the deal, I was contacted by the company to perform the work. I explained the situation that I hadn't closed on the house yet. I later found out I would not be able to use the deal for the house and am forced to request a refund. I would recommend the company and Angie's list.

LED lighting fixtures are as advertised. No problems with quality of merchandise. Installation should have been, but wasn't, supervised during/after installation. The trim on one unit was scratched and had to be replaced. It was obvious and should never have been mounted in the first place. A supervisor would have caught this & avoided a return visit. Trim was properly replaced on second visit. One light unit was not aligned with the two other light units installed in the hallway. Lighting units really looked strange. Installer said there was not enough wire, etc. He was asked again on second visit, and gave same response. I ended up hiring another professional who aligned unit without incident. Would have only taken an extra effort to have properly completed this. A supervisor could have addressed this during the first visit, or second visit, had he bothered to follow up. When second unit was installed in the hallway, the installer cut a hole in the ceiling as necessary but it was cut too large so that it went beyond edge of trim. Touch-up required. Again something which a supervisor would have caught and addressed. Clean-up was not entirely completed. Overall impression is that provider was interested in selling lighting units and getting them installed as quickly as possible with quality of the installation suffering as a result.

CJS Electric were very good. I called them and they got right back to me. The man came out and fixed my problem. The plug in my bathroom kept going out and he started the problem right away and did the rewiring. He was very quick and very good. His prices are reasonable. He was very friendly and a professional. I showed him the problem and he went right to work and fix it. I was very pleased with them. They did a great job.

I called them around 10am for an emergency service and they were out here by 12 noon and fixed my problem. They were very thorough checked other outlets, inspected my service box made sure all problems were corrected, did an excellent job.

CJS did a great job. The were flexible and accommodating with regard to the way we wanted to have things done. They were professional and they made sure that everything was up to code.
Description of Work
CJS rewired our kitchen and family room for our remodel. They upgraded our service from 100 amp to 200 amp and they installed a new breaker box.
