He did a terrible job cleaning the title floors. He cleaned the floors by hand using a bucket and cleaner. Because he did not rinse the floors with clean water a haze was left on the title floors. During cleaning I pointed out the haze but he did not ?see? the haze and therefore did not feel he needed to rinse the floor again. After I pointed out my dissatisfaction on the tile cleaning he changed his attitude towards the job. He did a hurried and terrible job of regrouting the baseboards. After he was finished I had to clean the tile floors myself to remove the haze left behind. I also had to remove the excess grout he left on the baseboards when he regrouted the around the baseboards because he slapped on the grout in a hurry. On the plus side he did a good job of recaulking around the sinks and bottom of the shower. I would never call this particular Grout Doctor again.

A Clean Slate
I wrote a previous report for A Clean Slate's carpet cleaning and mentioned that I was so impressed with their carpet cleaning that I scheduled them to come back to clean my tile floors. They did another excellent job! My tile floors have never been professionally cleaned. It has been 18 years since the tile was installed. That was back in the days when grout color was ivory, ugh! Needless to say, the grout color, especially in my kitchen, was no longer ivory. I figured that as long as most of the grout color was approximately the same color of brown that people wouldn't really notice. I tried using a 50% Clorox mixture on my grout and scrubbing it vigorously. I even used a face mask/respirator to keep from passing out. That worked sort of but really didn't make it look good. My house cleaner kept mentioning that I really needed to get it professionally cleaned so I figured I'd give it a try. I HAD MY DOUBTS!! If Clorox couldn't get it looking good, what was the chance that steam would work? Wow, I was surprised! It looks great! I'm very impressed. My next appointment, in a couple of weeks, is window cleaning. Will update how that goes but am a believer now. If they say my windows will look like new, I suspect they will.

A Clean Slate
I purchased the 400 sq. ft. tile and grout cleaning from Living Social after I read the reviews on Angie's List. My husband was leaving town so I needed all of my tile floors and grout cleaned before he left. Clean Slate scheduled us as soon as they could get us in. They came to our house exactly when they said they would and measured the square footage of all the tile that I wanted cleaned. I had much more square footage than the deal I had paid for but the price was much more reasonable than the quotes I received from other companies. They started in the back of the house and went room by room finishing one area and moving to the next room. They also did my counters and a marble shower that desperately needed deep cleaning. When they were finished, they went back and double checked all of the areas, went over a couple of spots in the high traffic areas and they were finished. The floors looked great and the grout looked amazing. I tried to clean the grout with chemicals and a steamer for days and I finished a small 4 X 12 area but my back was killing me for days afterwards. It was worth every penny to have them do the cleaning and I am going to have them come back and do my carpets and some windows next. We highly recommend A Clean Slate and my house looks like new again.

Showed up on time. Were pleasant and helpful. Floors look beautiful. Grouting was old, and dirty and a lot of different shades because it was installed at different times and repaired a number of times. Now looks just about brand new. I would certainly recommend these folks.

A Clean Slate
We called A Clean Slate for an estimate. The next day Fred and Patty arrived to provide the estimate. They were both friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. We asked them to come back to complete the work on the next Monday. They arrived at the scheduled time with Mark and cleaned our kitchen tile and grout and carpets. They were all professional and did a great job. Our carpets and kitchen floor look like new. It was a pleasure and stress-free experience having them do the cleaning.

Recent Review: I called Vlad and scheduled a time for him to meet me at a large house we were moving out of. We needed it cleaned floor to ceiling and there was a lot to clean. I met with Vlad and he quoted me a price much lower than we expected. I met him over there the day of the cleaning and his workers were there and he walked them through the house explaining exactly what needed to be done. They visited every room and I knew we were in good hands. After the cleaning Vlad called and I met him over there and we walked through the house. As expected it was spotless. He walked me through each room explaining what they had done and actually made me run my fingers along shelves, fans and blinds (which are almost impossible to clean) making sure I actually checked for dust. The place was spotless. Vlad then showed me their guarantee and explained that he wanted to make sure we were happy and if anything wasn't up to our standards to call him and he would make it right. Do not both looking for any other home/carpet cleaning company. This is the one you want! Thanks again Vlad!
