SOD Home GroupI had an exceptional experience in this company. When you see these great reviews up here: they’re true! Oren, our contractor with SOD Home Group, proved that house construction projects don’t have to be a nightmare but can be a pleasure if you find the right person to take you through it. Our old house seriously needed a remodel, and I didn’t have any personal preferences for any contractor; I lucked out when Oren came to interview. I liked Oren’s friendly, straightforward manner, devoid of slickness or hard sell, and his experience in construction was obvious as he walked me through the process. Oren spent time in the planning stage to find out what I wanted and discussed ideas that would work with the space. This is important: he is not the designer, he is the builder and will tell you what is structurally possible. Once a plan is agreed upon, his designer Eden put everything in several designs and after this stage is approved… then the crew do the work but i selected the fixtures, tile, paint color, etc. Oren had many useful resources to help, but I had a great idea of what I wanted needed. On the business end, once I committed to the job, the contract was clear, covering a schedule of payments and stages. Oren kept me up to date with what he needed from my end and when the crew was going to show up, etc..; all the teams came on time and work diligently. What a great combination: an experienced contractor with talented people skills who wants me to be happy with the job and makes it pleasant and easy! He’s been there for my every question and issue and gets back to me right away. I’m impressed by Oren’s team, all very professional people who do excellent, clean work while treating the area with respect; there’s not one guy working in my house that I wouldn’t have back (we are all working from home because of the pandemic). I’m impressed by the beautiful work that is being done and how creative and collaborative this team is. So summarizing: I found an honest, personable, skilled contractor backed by a wonderful team of professionals who are doing what they promised. No games here. I feel supported if questions come up and absolutely admire how they do business. The prices are fair and I feel that I have good value and guidance. I’m thrilled with Oren and SOD Home Group (including the staffers at the home office) and wouldn’t go looking anywhere else for my future projects.- Marquez E.

Z Blinds Co IncEmily, from Z Blinds, came to our house to give us an estimate. We received the estimate w/in 3 days. We liked the price, but when we went to the showroom we realized that we didn't like the products that we had gotten the quote on. Stephanie at the showroom helped us get prices for the products that we did like. We purchased the window treatments and were able to get 90% of them installed on the promised date. Hunter Douglas was late sending two blinds and sent two wrong brackets so we had to reschedule the remaining installation for 2 1/2 weeks later. John is not a pushy salesman, he is a knowledgeable guy who knows his business and is willing to give you several options within a diverse price range. John makes design suggestions based on years of experience and training. John came out and quoted me for EVERY window in my house-- even when he knew I only needed one blind. I was terrified of the price-- but he helped me find an option that has worked for me. For over a year, we have worked together to get every window a new treatment in my price range. No job too small. He comes out and gives me two to three window treatments every couple of months. It's taken a while, but no credit card debt here! Beyond price, John is professional. He is friendly, efficient and always early to his appointments. Never the "no show" you expect with other folks in his field. I highly recommend giving Champion Windows a calll. John does all his own work and runs his business like he has a team of twenty. Prompt, professional, pleasing!- Dave H.

They were great! I want to say it was like a week and they were done. They gave me a 50 year warranty when everybody else I was talking to only had a 30 year. My wife and I were thrilled. we exatic about how much better our house looks. The guys were super clean and I did not find a nail in the yard.

If I could give zero stars, I would. First, it was taking forever to get my order. When I looked at my order, they somehow had the wrong address (my former address from five years ago), so I contacted them to change the address. They assured me that the address was changed. A couple of weeks later, I was notified via email that my order was delivered but when I checked my front door it wasn't there, so I went to my old address, 30 minutes away and got lucky that the owner was there and had received my order. When I got it home the 3 roller shades that I ordered for side-by-side windows were all 4 inches too big. I followed the online measurement directions which suggested that you add 2 inches per side to your measurements for an outside mount. I should have stayed with my original measurements. When I called, they suggested that I keep an inch on each side. They re-made them, and AGAIN sent them to the wrong address - even after I re-confirmed that they had the right one. Again, I had to go to my old address to look for my delivery. This time, no one was home, so I took a chance and waited in front of their house for a while until someone may come home. Luckily, someone showed up within 90 minutes. This time they had showed up with 2 boxes! They re-made it twice (6 roller shades), all still too big! Due to the global pandemic and for personal reasons, I waited to address the issue. When I finally was able to contact them, I was sent a message that the CSR's supervisor determined that the blinds were made correctly. Therefore, they cannot offer a remake for this order. Their policy states that they will make up to 4 shades if the customer is not completely happy. However, they offered to remake the shades at a discounted price! I will not give them one more penny! Worst service ever! A $500.00 lesson learned - They stole my money and left me with 9 useless roller shades to get rid of. I do not recommend them!
