GREAT WORK!! This job was done to exceed my expectations. We ran into an unexpected problem when Kevin (the contractor) broke his foot the day before the job was scheduled to begin. However, Kevin called to say that he was hoping to find another employee and schedule the job ASAP. The next day, David & Julie (a young married couple), showed up. They were energetic, respectful, and very pleasant. It was quite a big job: wash 15 windows/screens in 2-story house; power wash house/garage/wrap-around covered porch/ 40-ft driveway, brick foundation. But they completed it in a couple of hours. They went above and beyond what I would have expected. They removed/replaced porch decorations/furniture and completed the job in less than 3 hours and it looked BEAUTIFUL e. The price was very reasonable and well worth it. I'm giving the HIGHEST RATING and would absolutely recommend this company to others. THANKS, D. HARRIS

A Cut Above The CurbArrived on time, with crew, worked hard all day. Due to the extent of the cleaning, and some previous commitments, one crew member returned the next morning to quickly finish all that had been promised. Everyone was courteous, respectful, knowledgeable. A wonderful surprise was a "thank you" gift from the company! I received a beautiful "sparkly" to hang in my spanking clean window - when the sun strikes it, there is a beautiful "rainbow" effect. Even my kitties were "thanked!" Jayhawk Exteriors IncThis was the best decision we have made to use Jayhawk to repair our roof, We called three companies for estimate and Jayhawk was in the center of the bids. We chose Jayhawk because of Estimator Arnie. He not only measured for the roof but pointed out a large area that would need the plywood replaced. it was nice to have no surprises the day work began. Arnie and a four man crew arrived promptly at 7 AM the day work was to begin. They covered the ground in large tarps, They moved my flower pots so they would not be damaged. Arnie crew started and worked hard all day. At the end of the roof job they started cleaning my yard. witch took two hours to do, At the end of leaf blower and rakes they ran over our yard with a magnet to find stray nails, When they were done you could not tell they had ever been here. Jayhawk Exteriors IncCurtis Lawrence arrived at the time stated on estimate: 9:00 a.m. Very cold,very windy,but Mr Lawrence and co worker persevered and got all work done by approx. 2:00 p.m. Area was left neat - all litter removed. Waiting until rain to see if the leak has been repaired. Requested an estimate on some further roof repairs to be done. Home was built in 1967 Note: Day after repairs towels I placed in the attic space over garage were wet - called Curtis - came out within 2 hours to assess what was wrong. Curtis to come back and do repairs to roof on 2nd level(split level home)to hopefully contain the leak.- Diane R.

Jayhawk Exteriors IncEarlier this year, I contacted 3 roofers to get quotes for a total reroof and replacement of all sheathing on my 1500 SF ranch home. The two roofers I found on Angieslist were the most responsive and I felt most comfortable with Jayhawk largely due to Jeff's attitude and professionalism. Price wise, they were virtually identical to the other quote I received. As time approached, Jeff worked with us to find a convenient time to do the work and workout all the final details. His crew arrived early the first day and had the whole house resheathed and felt installed by 7pm. The next day a smaller crew returned to install the shingles and trim everything out. Jeff and the crew worked very hard, especially considering these were the hottest days of the year, literally. I was very happy with the work and it is a huge improvement to the home. After seeing the work they did on my home, a neighbor had them back to do his a couple weeks later. The only small complaint I have is that I recently discovered the vent duct at the bathroom vent they replaced had come loose. Other than that, I spent an hour on the roof last weekend cleaning gutters and their work really does speak for itself. The work looks great, the crew was professional, and the price was fair.- Benjamin M.

Jayhawk Exteriors IncWe picked three top performers from Angie's List. We told each of the estimators the same thing - told them we were getting three estimates. All three estimates were within a couple of hundred of each other. Ernie Ireland was the only one to go into the attic to see what it looked like and pinpoint the damage. He also explained why our 18 year old roof had started to leak. Arnie Ireland was a pleasure to work with from the beginning. He spent a lot of time with us explaining what had happened, why it had happened and what he would do, if hired, to prevent it occurring again. He was not pushy nor did he put any pressure on us to make a decision right then It was easy for us to pick Arnie above the other Angie List companies. When he said his crew would be there to start work at 0700, he meant it. They were there at 0700. A ballon tire trailer arrived shortly after for debri. Annie even checked to see that our car was out of the garage (which he had earlier told us to do) before work began. As soon as his four man crew arrived (0700), they immediately started work by covering plants with tarps then began to work removing the existing roof shingles and vents. His team worked steadily through to the finish. There was no messing around at all. Very impressive hard workers. Clean cut and professional. They cleaned up after the roof work was completed including going over the entire yard with a huge magnet as the final step in clean up. Our yard and the yards around us were check and all roofing material removed from our yard and our neighbors. Arnie was there most of the time unless he was getting materials between start and finish of our project.- JOHN M.
