Arta ConstructionWe had interviewed a handful of contractors (the ones who actually showed up to the appointments we made). Some showed up and didn't send estimates or wanted to start without providing one. Or provided overpriced estimates. We were starting to worry...and then we found Arta Construction. We knew instantly we found an honorable, experienced and professional company. Andy is someone who you can shake hands with and know he is going to get the job done. The fit, finish, quality and attention to details were amazing. The heavy doors and special additions to our pre war apartment had a lot of tricky challenges to overcome - uneven floors, leaky windows and radiators - Andy and Arta had a smart solution to any problem and the end result was beautiful. We have a brand new and updated "old detailed" apartment. It is a dream come true. All this was accomplished during the challenging time of the pandemic with many additional restrictions put on us in a building with many, many rules. Arta always had permits in good order, followed all building rules and there was never a single complaint from neighbors. It is so important to have building management not take issue with your contractor. We had no problems at all during a major project. Communication was excellent throughout our relationship. The Arta crew always came to work prepared and with a "no nonsense, get to work attitude" that you appreciate. They value your time and money invested in your project. Our estimate was very reasonable and we stayed perfectly on budget. I highly recommend Arta for projects big and small. They are true artisans and craftsmen and take pride in doing things right and making it right for thier customers. My building super asked if my apartment could be used as a showplace for neighbors to see during construction because it was asked about so often when word got out about our progress. All of our expectations were exceeded. There was never a question or change we asked for that was ever refused. We have already engaged Arta to renovate another apartment for a family member. We are very happy to have Arta Construction as our contractor. They earned our business and will continue to be our construction specialists.- Dennis D.

Hampton Bay Construction - Babylon Bay ConstructionAJ and his team went above and beyond. The kitchen belongs in a magazine! He always responded no matter what time of day or night. He stood by his word and was pretty amazing. I was pretty demanding and needed things done by a certain week and he made it all happen. He was cool and professional and his guys are top notch. EMILCO Construction, LLCI could not be happier with the quality of the work, the professionalism of everyone involved, and the speed of the job from start to finish. Emil designed my new kitchen to be much more efficient and beautiful. The entire kitchen was reconfigured and brought up-to-date. The AC was installed beautifully and it works absolutely wonderfully. Updates throughout the house (sheet rock, moldings, paint, new interior doors) were done perfectly. Emil works closely with his clients to assure that they are completely satisfied. BUILT-WELL BUILDERS, LLCIt went extremely well and we LOVE our newly renovated and constructed home! Keith was the general contractor for a 2 story 800 sq. ft addition plus renovations. He has a great group of people doing the work (masons, carpenters, tiles, plumbers, electric, etc.) and truly all of them did excellent work and were a pleasure to deal with. This is a contractor who is as honest as the day is long. Furthermore, you know things will change at some point and he was awesome at addressing changes/issues and gets things resolved. We interviewed several companies and we are so glad we chose Keith, his son Grant, and Built-Well. We have some more work to be done, and we will be bringing them all back to do it. For my elderly parents the job was to have a few safety grab bars installed against a ceramic tile wall in my parents' bathroom. Parvez and Nazeem came by and they accomplished this in an hour. They drilled the bars and also fixed a loosened toilet paper rack and towel rack that was also mounted against the tile. The installation was clean and the bars look great; we are very happy with the results! I would hire them again.
