I need this to be able to edit a lot of pages. I keep running into extend confirmed pages that I can not edit. I have been edited on 4 IP adresses+2 accounts for 265 days, and have made ~2000 edits and had 19 accept AFC articles. Starship SN20 (talk) 16:34, 20 August 2021 (UTC)

I believe it was Yref9375 and 1816Space, you can check via restoring the G13 deleted draft Draft:List of Launches. The first 2 accounts to edit it where me. However, those only account for about ~10 edits. The majority of the edits comes from IPs. Again, you can check via restoring the G13 deleted draft Draft:List of Launches and the first 2 IPs to edit were me. I also had 2 other IP adressess, 71.183.212.131, and 100.2.238.109. @Cabayi:

I want to edit the Syrian Civil War detailed map. Dozens of dots are light green/dark green. This color scheme was removed from the legend several months ago, and I would like to change those dots to solid light green, to match the current legend. I'm only around halfway to XC, and I would prefer not to have to make 250+ more edits before I can correct this problem. I have been somewhat active on the Taliban Insurgency detailed map, and no one has complained about any of my edits (AFAIK). I believe that this shows that I can handle the Syrian map module competently. I know my chances of getting XC from this are slim, but I might as well try. So, I politely request that you please give me extended confirmed privileges. I could probably do 250 more edits, but it would take a month and be a big waste of time, so I'd prefer not to.

• @CircularToucan: so we've kind of got 3 choices here. The default is: "Use edit requests"; I could give you XC, with a stern warning that you may only use it on this one page or else - or I could lower the protection on Module:Syrian Civil War detailed map. I know this is a contentious topic in general, but I don't know how contentious this specific map is - perhaps a recent editor (@Selfworm:) of that map could give an opinion if lowering that page from ECP to SPP (where it was 3 years ago) would be problematic? — xaosflux ^Talk 01:06, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
