Aakash Jha is a student at Purwanchal University School of Engineering & Technology, B.E Computer Engineering and a UI Designer at Binwary, a software-based IT company located at Biratnagar.
He would like to see WordPress fully translated in Nepali, so that his colleagues, friends, seniors, and mentors could better use the platform for their websites.

Abdullah Ramzan

A Software Engineer, part of the PressTigers clan at Nextbridge (Pvt.) Ltd. Abdullah Ramzan is a WP Plugin Developer who loves to contribute to open source projects. He is part of the team who developed very simple and robust open source plugins for WordPress.org.

He is also part of the organizing team for WordPress Meetups Lahore and Translation Editor for the PressTigers plugins.

Abha Thakor is an experienced communicator, journalist, researcher and digital professional working in a variety of sectors. She has specialisms in new technology, content development, supporting continuous professional development and cross-cultural working.

She is a contributor to a number of teams on Make WordPress including marketing and is a WordCamp and Meetup co-organizer. She is Communications Lead for WordCamp London and a WordCamp Europe 2019 co-organizer. She is also CPD-Lead for a number of professional organizations and writes on technology, AI and machine learning.

Afsana Multani

This quote is one Afsana has lived by as a Customer Support Executive with thedotstore, a venture of Multidots. An artist and a WordPress enthusiast who enjoys learning, Afsana recently started an initiative called ‘iamwplearner’, a knowledge-sharing activity she dreams will help both the local and the International WordPress Community.

She is a Lead Organiser, speaker and volunteer for a WordCamp and WordPress Meetups.

Ahmed is also moderately-severely deaf, have been since birth and is gradually experiencing a decline in his hearing. A WordPress user since 2005, Evangelos has also been a translator for much of that period. He also develops websites with WordPress. He supports the local WordPress Meetup and has been a WordCamp organizer.

She has been involved in the Japanese WordPress community since 2003, contributing in the areas of translation, documentation, and community/events organization.

Pedro Mendonça

Pedro is a Portuguese GTE, involved in WordPress’ core translation. He helps the Portuguese WordPress Community by preserving Core and Meta translation quality and consistency as a base model of terminology and glossary for further translations of third party themes and plugins.

He is author of the ‘Translation Stats’ plugin, a WordPress Translation Editor, i18n and l10n geek and translator of premium WordPress projects. He is also a designer, an is ‘passionate’ about mechanical items and LEGO.

Saurabh Shukla

Saurabh has been a WordPress developer, writer, and educator for a decade. He works on support, maintenance, and development of LifterLMS. He is also the GTE for Hindi and has been involved in translation activities for a few years.

Siobhan Cunningham

She works for Yoast and is based in The Netherlands. She is a Make WordPress.org marketing team representative and co-ordinator for the weekly marketing team meetings. She is also the Speaker liaison for WordCamp Nijmegen 2019. With Abha Thakor, they lead the marketing campaign to encourage subtitling on WordPress.tv videos.

Siobhan has a background in Communication and Multimedia Design and Communication science. She enjoys being part of a community where so many people from across the world not only build together the WordPress open source project but they share knowledge and learn so much from each other too.

Tor-Björn Fjellner

Swedish Poet and Writer, Tor-Björn is a Project and Product Manager (especially within Telecoms and IT), fluent in Russian. He has lived and worked in Russia, Bulgaria, Oman, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and is now living in Barcelona.

He has been actively using WordPress since 2011, when he converted his own blog in Russian about living as an expat in Oman into a multilingual website on WordPress. He also translated the WordPress theme of this site into Russian and Swedish. Tor-Björn is Global Translation Editor for Swedish and one of the global mentors for WordPress polyglots.
