It went very well

I called American Vets Home Repair and left a message that I needed an estimate on several repairs I needed done. They returned my call in less than 1/2 an hour and we set a time for them to come and take a look at what I needed done. They showed up on time and we went over what I needed done and agreed on an estimated cost for the work. They fixed the roof leak that day and set a time that they could get the materials and get back to get the drywall work done. We discussed options for the entry door replacement and they got back with me with examples of door and sidelight options and finishes. After we agreed upon the door and sidelights to be used they ordered them (this was a special order as the sidelights were not standard size). They showed up at the time agreed upon completed the drywall repair and gave me an estimated time for delivery of the entry door from the manufacturer. They contacted me when the door arrived and we set a time for the removal and replacement of the entry door. We got lucky on the time for installation of the entry door as we were having a warm spell soon after the door arrived. They brought a 3 man crew and I found all of them to be very professional, friendly and easy to work with. I was very comfortable having them in my home performing the work and enjoyed working with them. I was very pleased with their attention to detail and the quality of the work that was done. I will not hesitate to call American Vets Home Repair for any work I need done in the future and would not hesitate to recommend them to others,

We had an emergency for the ramps to be installed. He made time for me. He did a great job.

He got right back to me when I called and promptly scheduled an evaluation. Once evaluated, I thought he quoted a very fair price and scheduled the install quickly. He even brought the needed materials. He did a great job.

They did really well and I would use them again.

American Vets Home Repair was a real find for us. The company had been referred to me by a reputable builder here in Indianapolis. Mr. Keith Rodier, the owner of American Vets Home Repair, came out the next day after I contacted him. Within 2 days he had a detailed written estimate for me and within 1 more day, they had started work on our many projects. All work was expertly performed and I especially appreciated how neat they were. I had looked on Angie's List for American Vets Home Repair before I hired them for our work and I saw they had an A rating. Because there weren't a lot of reviews yet, I asked the owner for additional references. I called both the references he gave me, and like myself, both parties were exceptionally pleased with the quality of the work that was done for them. We have already lined them up to do several more jobs for us.

There was a large ash tree in the middle of the deck and it had died leaving a big whole in my deck. He got back to me the same day when he got my call and came out the next day. He went and got supplies and repaired the deck that day. My husband and I am very impressed.

American Vets built custom barn/shed. I built the base and laid the concrete block foundation. They did everything from there up, including flooring, framing, siding, trim work, and roofing. My neighbor and I came up with the design, but there were many things we didn't consider. American Vets suggested we raise the bottom and trim so I wouldn't hit it with weedeater. They clearly had a significant amount of experience in the building trades. All the recommendations were fantastic, and they thought everything through better than I had. They did an amazing job. He is going to replace a sliding glass door in the back of the house as well. He looked at it, and told me it is framed in brick, so said he needs to do the measurements instead of me so he can make sure the door fits correctly, very conscientous. As far as quality of work, an A rating isn't close to the quality of the work they performed. It is far above A work. Also, their communication was fantastic. If there were rain delays, whatever, they let me know immediately.

I wish there was a higher rating than "A". Keith was awesome to work with! I had him out originally to do some repair work on where painters I had hired found some rotted out siding that needed replaced. Keith came out right away for an estimate and had the repairs made with a week. The painters went ahead and painted around the bad spot and were going to come out and finish it up... but Keith offered to paint it himself with the paint they had left. He was great to talk with... like a long lost family member. Very personal and professional. As we were talking I mentioned about my next project of digging out some overgrown shrubbery in the front of my house and how I was dreading it. He gave me a great price on the spot. This was on Friday. Monday afternoon he had all five bushes GONE in 45 minutes. It would have taken me a week or more to do the job myself. Simply amazing and a blessing. In my opinion Keith went above and beyond the "minimum" quality of work many service providers give anymore. Not only did he want to make sure I was completely satisfied with his workmanship... but you could tell he had to be completely satisfied with his own quality of work. Very admirable that you rarely see these days. Thank you Keith and American Vet's Home Repair!
