We had friends who had used them, including three who each used them for various projects twice. Joe Bailey's ideas for our project were so on target with what we wished to see in the end result. America's Best Patio RoomsOur new porch is gorgeous and super high quality! Seriously, compared to most screen porches I've seen around here, ours looks like an addition or really that it was built with the house instead of pasted on later. This is especially impressive considering our house siding was discontinued, and he was able to find a nearly identical match, which if he hadn't pointed out wasn't exact I couldn't have told you. We started getting estimates last fall in hopes of finishing by this spring and ended up a little delayed to start, but they finished in April after a little over 3 weeks work. Lumber prices had already climbed a ton when we got the estimate, but the owner, Austin, was able to give us ideas and suggestions we hadn't even considered on how we could maximize our space, make it work for our family and get close to our original $30K budget. We ended up finishing it to a level we could come back and add windows to make it a 3-season-room later on, so we already have things wired and insulation etc. in place. And with screen panels that are easy to replace if our kids or dogs poke a hole in them, a knee wall with beadboard, and a dog door to keep them from running into the porch edges, it's going to hold up much better to our family than the basic screen porch at our previous house. All in all, it's beautiful and we can't wait to enjoy it this spring, summer and fall!- Meranda & Ryan A.

Rick's RoofingRick's Roofing does fantastic work. They did two projects for me. Replace wood over the garage and house entrance. Completely change our back porch from screen in to enclosed. Flooring for the back porch unbelievable superior workmanship. My wife and I are totally pleased with the craftsmanship that was done. Rick does follow-up after his workers leave to make sure everything is perfect. We are raving Fans ! His help are total craftsman. Nothing could have been done better. Excellent. Covid delayed availability of materials naturally but they kept in touch with me every step of the way so I knew what was going on and they worked in very cold weather to get it done. Greg Spivey RemodelingWork began in early December 2019 and was substantially complete in May 2020. The punch list items were completed in July. We added on two new rooms - a guestroom/office in the basement and a Three-Season Room above it. We also had Spivey remodel the staircase and replace the fireplace trim – bringing a much-needed update to our home. (Our carpet & golden-oak staircase was replaced with dark-stained oak planks and painted white risers.) We love our two new living spaces and still stop to admire our beautiful staircase and fireplace. Joe Bailey’s designs were gorgeous, and we’re so glad we listened to his suggestions! The new rooms are well-constructed and attractively finished, and Tim Huber’s attention to detail was outstanding! The 3-season room is our new favorite room! We started eating dinner out there every night once it was complete, and it’s our go-to room for reading and relaxing. Because of the blocking Spivey put in the ceiling during construction, we can enjoy our hanging egg chairs without worrying about them crashing down. (Our cat also loves all the windows!) The new basement room was intended to be a guest bedroom, but my husband began using it as a home office (due to COVID) before the electrical work was even completed. Joe’s idea for a large daylight window in the basement made it a much more pleasant room to work in than any of our daylight-starved rooms in the existing basement! With a murphy bed, the new basement room still functions as a guestroom when needed. Tim H. is an incredibly talented carpenter, and we were so fortunate to have him on our project. Our walls aren’t plumb & square, and he carefully measured and cut to ensure the new stairs would fit. He coordinated his staircase work to ensure it would mesh well with the wainscoting we were installing ourselves in the stairway. He also went above & beyond to install the basement ceiling as high as possible so our murphy bed would fit. Tim H and Paul also let me know how many boards would be needed for the 3-season room ceiling, so I could paint them BEFORE they were installed in the peak. (I still had to touch up nail holes etc. but that was much better than having to paint all of it afterwards!) Everyone I worked with at Spivey (Joe, Tim H, Paul, Tim S) was polite and professional. It was a talented team, and I greatly appreciated their willingness to work with us to ensure we got the finished product we wanted. There were bumps in the project, but Tim S was committed to doing whatever was necessary to correct problems and ensure we were satisfied. I’d be happy to work with them again. Lifestyle Group Residential RemodelingA great experience! We have used this group on 4 different projects to remodel two bathrooms and to build a year-round mostly window sunroom and a side porch. In addition- this team was able to do a repair on a dormer of our home that 4 other companies were unable to fix- preventing additional water damage (even though repairs are not normally in their scope of work). The crew was amazing and the communication of how the work was progressing was excellent. We would HIGHLY recommend using this company to design, execute and polish any home remodeling or building project. They were flexible in the work plan- allowing us to save some money by us pre-staining the wood for our cathedral ceiling. They were creative in helping us to find solutions so that we had the exact outcome we pictured and desired. Very hard working crew, friendly and polite. Cleaned up the work area as well. All Phase Group IncAll Phase had done the interior of my home in 2016, remodeling kitchen and bath. I was so happy with all that had been done, I started saving to have my front porch screened in. I had been to Dave and Kathy's porch and knew they were the ones I needed to make it beautiful. It is perfect! Dave knew what was exactly right for my 1930's home; it looks like it should have always been this way. They took videos, so if any screens were damaged, I would know how to repair them. We needed our home updated in preparation to sell after having the same renters in it for 13 years. (Not a great situation for upkeep.) Before deciding on Custom Home Medic, we received one other estimate from a contractor recommended by our realtor which was the same cost but did not include any upgrades, only repairs. It was very general whereas Custom Home Medic was very specific & transparent in itemizing costs. We replaced bathroom flooring (4 baths), replaced kitchen countertop (tile) with granite, & added a backsplash. All interior doors and hardware were changed as well as upgraded light fixtures, MB windows replaced, new basement carpeting, paint throughout including baseboards & many misc repairs. We were well-informed about the progress and about minor cost adjustments which were all made within budget. All work was completed within the time frame expected and our house sold the first day on the market for more than our asking price. Even our realtor was extremely impressed with the end result and transformation of our home, having been our realtor when we first purchased it. I highly recommend Custom Home Medic.

This is the best experience of all the projects we have done in our home, and we have had some major projects! The owner Beshoy was so professional, providing a very detailed estimate, and payments based on certain work being completed. There were several issues with the foundation of the bathroom that we expected once Isaac removed drywall, tile, etc but we were so very appreciative of letting us know. Isaac did an excellent and beautiful job with the bathroom. My husband picked out all of the items, tile, etc and Isaac collaborated with him on several items. I loved the collaboration experience as I am not the decorator. I am ready to hire them to remodel our kitchen and family room!

Arellanos did an amazing job ripping out our first floor carpet and laying engineered hardwoods, replacing trim, and painting. It looks beautiful and they did an excellent job using no transition strips to have the whole first floor flooring look seamless!
